Clean & Sophisticated Design for a Classic Movie

I'm sure everyone knows how great of a movie this original version of Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" is. I'd just like to give proper fanfare to the 4K conversion of the film. The HDR punches up the vibrance and contrast of the film like never before. As for the resolution, the backgrounds look like real paintings now where you can make out the brushstrokes. I've watched this movie close to a hundred times and have never noticed brushstrokes. It actually makes me appreciate it more as a work of art even more now. Also, if your TV setup support Dolby Vision, the 4K Digital Copy provides a Dolby Vision option not available on the disc.
As for the Steelbook, although it may seem plain in images, it is absolutely beautiful in hand. The striking imagery on both front and back are enhanced by nice debossing and metallic effects. And the inner inlay image is classic. It has a real "adult" sensibility to its design. You will enjoy this set inside and out.

Good bang for buck

After having this refrigerator for a couple of weeks, I am quite pleased considering the great retail price. It's not flashy. It just does the job so it doesn't require any special setup and therefore minimal opportunities to break down. It's compact size leaves a small footprint whether it's your kitchen centerpiece or an extra one for the game room or the garage. Another plus is that it is quiet with no loud running motors that might get annoying. The adjustable shelves are strong and slide out easily. Dials work easily and adjust temps quickly. All in all, it's a great priced addition to your home by a trusted brand.

Great-looking and thematic

This Steelbook is the first in the matching set with Age of Ultron. Surrounding the A emblem are the members. And the second set are the additional members, I like the concept of this. Too bad "Infinity War" didn't have the same theme. They may remedy it in the future.
The film is a slight step down compared to the first movie in terms of the film itself and the 4K quality. However, it's very good and matches really well with the first Avengers movie. The back of the Steelbook has a killer image of Ultron which shines from the metal-looking glossy metal. A great companion piece to the first Avengers 4K Steelbook.

The Avenger looks great in 4K, a definite upgrade from the already great looking 1080p Bluray which is also included with all of the extras exclusively on the BD.

I'm glad Disney remastered these Captain America movies in 4K right before the release of Avengers: Endgame. The 4K remastering was done right as well. The only thing that was overlooked was including Dolby Vision. However, the digital version includes DV.
This is my favorite movie of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe and it is the movie that really made Captain America as popular and "cool" as he is today thanks to the directors The Russo Brothers and their modern superhero thriller. The Steelbook is the 3rd in the thematic vintage-looking themed Captain America Steelbooks with poster art on the front and a shield motif on the back. Together, all 3 Steelbooks looks great together. I hope they do thematic Steelbook sets for the other Avengers.

Sturdy and pro-like

I love the novelty and practicality of using the Switch’s JoyCon controllers however I still love the traditional feel of a controller and this controller feels as sturdy and pro-like as Nintendo has ever had. It’s the second best controller behind the GameCube. The only negative I have is the D-pad but the wireless capabilities, ability to use it on PC and battery life are very good. If you can find it on sale, it’s definitely worth it to replay your games without JoyCon.

Fantastic-looking Steelbook for a Fantastic movie

First off, this movie was a great sleeper hit for 2018. I actually enjoy it more than the first Creed and I already love that movie so that’s saying something. This was a much more emotional story with a lot of arcs for many of the characters in this movie. I really felt the legacy of Rocky in this one. Other than the great movie, this Steelbook is slick, glossy black with minimalist artwork taken from the movie posters. It matches great with the Black Steelbook of the first movie if you can find it. The ONLY thing that was irritating about this Steelbook was the non-centered title on the spine. Really, man? Other than that, it’s a great price for the 4K disc, Standard Blu-ray and a digital copy.

This Deluxe Edition was a fantastic animated translation of the original comic. Don’t believe me. Well, it comes with the seminal comic along with it. You can see for yourself. I love these graphic novel / movie combos. They’re hardback and they even come with digital versions of the movie and the comic. That’s a bargain and a half. The deluxe version of the movie has both parts 1 & 2 which were previously released separately. In addition, there are loads of extras including commentary, comprehensive making-of features and 5 Batman animated episodes. This is enough Batman to get you by for a week’s viewing. High;y recommended.

People, myself included, are on the hype of the current Marvel Studios films but the modern era started out with the X-Men in 2000. It gets a bad rap with some of the franchise’s entries but for Fox to still be doing movies says something about the franchise. No matter what happens with how X-Men is treated when the license is carried over to Disney remains to be seen but this collection of the first three movies are landmarks of their own. Great actors signing on to make great Superhero dramas, great effects and launching Hug Jackman’s career. It is great to see how these films look in 4K. Great to okay transfers. Great price and a shelf-space saving slim package make this a great buy.
