A must own for Rambo Fans.

I absolutely LOVED this installment to the Rambo Series. At first it doesn't feel like rambo, more like Stallone... But once he gets on a role, It feels like John Rambo. I love it and sense they left the Door open for another one.
The 4k transfer is super detailed and looks amazing. The steel book is cool. Definitely for the fan.

Let me get the positives out of the way, This is a Great looking stealth Blu-ray player. Pretty quiet as well. The picture quality it delivers is on point but I have seen some weird artifacts on standard 1080p video. But 4k Blu-ray looks amazing! I previously was watching 4k Blu-ray's on my Xbox one S and I have an Lg OLED 65 inch tv...didn't look impressive at all. but with this player, it looks awesome..
But that's where the positives about this player end. Because the interface feels like you stepped back into 1997 DVD players. The remote is kind of clunky and has a TON of buttons that most will never use. And also the one thing that really throws me off about this player is the lack of any notification in the front panel... I just don't understand that. Between the slow startup time and no heads up display on the player, I'm left sitting there for over a minute sometimes just looking at a black screen and wondering when something will pop up because you see the red light and you hear the disc being read but that's it.

The console looks amazing, was super fast and generally performed well. Until about a year in, it began to stay at the green Xbox screen splash screen. I'd give it a day or two and it would start up as normal. Now as of November 2019. The system has given me a straight black screen twice in 2 weeks. Not sure how this happens when I turn it on maybe twice a week if that. But yeah... Doesn't give me much confidence in buying another Xbox.

First things first. This laptop is built tough! Great serious look with the black and gold.
After the first real windows update which took about 2 days to download, it ran great. Before that, the fans fired up for the most basic task. Battery life became better as well.
I only have two negatives about the gs65. For one, it would be the upgrading process. After watching a couple of videos on YouTube, you learn that everything is located under the motherboard... A gaming laptop shouldn't make it this difficult to add new ram or SSD. Secondly, the ports on each side. Since I use this for video editing and audio editing, I had wires sticking out the sides. Would be nice if they were in back. Outside of that, the rgb is cool, the build is solid and the screen is gorgeous with the 144htz.

Almost The Best...

I've had eyes on this for over a year. It's always had the appeal of being near perfect. Great solid build, Touch screen, built in pen and great screen... but then it starts to fall apart a bit.
I'll explain how.
- The screen. While it definitely gets bright enough, for some reason it feels bland... I'm not sure if it was like this prior to the pie 72 update but images just don't look as colorful as you hope they would.

- The keyboard. There are a few issues here, While it is backlit... the backlight is so subtle that you literally have to have the lights off in a room to see it... kind of a let down there and then theirs the feel of the keyboard itself.. the keys feel mushy. Theirs not enough click behind them so it equals a meh experience. and then just like what many others have mentioned, the keyboard feels cramped. so I wouldn't recommend it unless you have smaller hands.
- The Processor. Now I know that the intel M processor isn't the greatest but I had the Hp X-2 for about a week and a half prior to this and it certainly felt snappier than the Samsung Chromebook pro. For some reasons, it feels choppy. and when it updates a play app, It freezes for about 3-5 seconds. That just equates to a subpar experience.
Conclusion- NOW with all of this being said, If you can snag this Chromebook used in great condition for under $300, then it's perfect. But at this point, if you're spending more than that on it, there are other Chromebooks out that do what this tried to do, now but better.

I easily reformatted it for windows by going to the g tech website and 3 minutes later I was transferring 256gbs from one drive to this one. I love it, the only thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars is the build feels a little heap. Wish it was a nice smooth cold metal. This feels like metal with a plastic coating. Other than that, it's great.

I was curious about this phone for the longest but I finally was able to pick it up this week with price matching to B&H and using some Best Buy Certificates. This phone is super impressive. While on a SD 821... it isn't the fastest or the smoothest but outside of that its really a joy to use. The build is incredible, the screen is awesome. The audio is clear, the rear camera's are awesome as well.
The downsides would be the front facing camera and video... both are just generations old. Major crop in on video unless you go wide and then you have a fish eye look. Lots of smoothening and oil like pics. Not good. Audio on video is bad too. which is odd because the audio from pro mode on camera and the audio from the dedicated recording app is amazing! but with front facing video ,it's noisy, crackly and trash.

This is a nice TV. I am upgrading from an older 6 series (R615) with the Roku OS. I use mine with an Apple TV and Xbox primarily. Overall am pretty satisfied with the picture and has noticeably better contrast management from my older 6 series.
However, there is one UI fail that I can’t seem to get past that may ultimately annoy me enough to return it: the CEC function does not work properly: (1) TV will only intermittently turn on when my ATV turns on and (2) TV will not turn off when I turn the ATV off. What you get is a disclaimer on the screen that there is no signal so you have to reach for the TV remote to turn the TV off.
This may seem like a minor annoyance and it’s certainly a first world problem. However, this is functionality that is expected to just work with today’s convergence of media equipment and indeed my older TCL 6 series and my not that old 5 series both have the same setups and work just fine where the CEC works properly so I can just use the ATV remote to operate all functions.
I did some superficial research and it seems to be an issue with the R646 sets with the Google TV operating system. And the most recent Reddit thread that I read (from October 2021) leads me to the conclusion that TCL has not addressed it and in fact TCL responses posted by other owners can be summarized as: “that’s how it is designed to work.”
So, in the end, it’s a nice TV, but if you use any other device and expect that CEC functionality to work, it won’t right now (and I have no idea if TCL will ever fix the issue). But if you plan to just use the TV itself, this is a non-issue for you.

I'm having the same CEC issue. It's not controlling my soundbar volume but raising the tvs volume when using the remote. Also it isn't controlling anything connected to it outside of turning it on. But doesn't turn it off. I'm hoping this will be addressed with a future software issue along with the lag in the smart features.

So there was something about this TV on the end cap that grabbed my attention. The aesthetic of how thick it was and the fact that it's the only mini LED TV on display at Best Buy where you can't see blooming from the backlight. Now with all that being said I'm coming from a 2015 LG OLED so I'm used to the best picture but I did want to go bigger and felt confident that TCL has come a long way. And my God turning this TV on, I was shocked at how close to OLED black this TV gets. The color is incredible, HDR looks great, and the brights are so bright that the maximum that I can put this TV on is maybe 34. I'm a big fan of Google TV and the picture options on this are really great but there is a reason I gave it 4 stars.
That reason being the software itself is very buggy, there needs to be some software updates because there are several options in the menu that just simply don't work. Such as CEC HDMI control. The moment I plugged my HDMI sound bar into the arc Port which my $1,000 Sony HT nt5 Soundbar supports, the TV's sound came out through my soundbar but with CEC enabled on the soundbar, when you raise the volume you're only raising the TV's volume and not the Soundbar itself. It's also not controlling or moving anything on my Xbox PS3 or Blu-ray player, again CEC is enabled on all of these. The other part of the software that is surprising is if you're playing HDR or Dolby Vision video and try to press the settings button, it just lags and everything freezes and it takes forever. This is odd because the settings for the television should be completely separate from the Google interface that you're streaming from, but it almost feels like it's all one and that's not good. Now, I may be using an external Source such as my Xbox for media content but I really shouldn't have to, so hopefully future updates take care of this lag and CEC issue. On another note, hbo max WILL NOT play any Dolby Vision content, it completely freezes. Also if your watching TV & use the built in guide, there are options to use green & yellow buttons, which ARE NOT present on the remote itself.
I do see that some people have gotten bad panels here and believe me, that's a thing with every single brand but I got lucky getting this open box and having a completely white screen, no clouding issues and perfect blacks... as perfect as they're going to get on an LED. If you're curious about the capabilities of mini led, this is the TV to get.

Well, Today, There is no sound coming from any input on the tv, whether it be antenna, xbox, bluray or my switch but there is sound coming from the native apps... seriously what is going on with the firmware here? Such an amazing picture and build, let down by awful software implementation.

Picture is PHENOMINAL, however - it is slightly buggy - even after the system being updated. Occasionally the TV will just shut off and cannot be turned on unless we unplug the TV, count to 60, and plug in again.
I'm sure this will be fixed in a future software update, but it's slightly annoying.

So I'm not the only one going through that. Good to know. There is nothing else in the size and price segment that even touches this tvs picture quality. But it is still buggy, something new that is happening with me, now is I have to unplug all hdmi's but the soundbar and restart the TV for it to recognize that the sound bar is connected.
