Twenty five years later and still a landmark tale

Apollo 13 brought the tale to a new generation and led to a whole new set of publications and films focusing on the Moonshot mission that included Mercury, Gemini and Apollo. The true story is almost unbelievable and is brought to film with great realism here. 25 years later still an incredible watch with Tom Hanks giving one of his best performances following back to back Oscar wins.

Bourne trilogy delivers!

The original Bourne trilogy delivers a true trilogy experience with each movie serving as one act in the larger arc of Jason's discovery of who he is and who he wants to be. So many movie franchises call themselves trilogies these days but are really just new episodes in an ongoing story. It's nice to have a 21st century spy arc that tells mission stories that advance over three acts while building to a resolution of the grand story.

25 Year Celebration in Steel Style!

The worst part about this Clueless release is how old it makes me feel to see that the movie is a quarter century old! The steelbook release is a great Bluray transfer with digital copy included (Paramount so not MA). The steelbook cover gives the classic Cher outfit pattern. It's understated as an art piece but still stylish looking.
