I love this movie. I can watch it over and over and not get sick of it. The effects are outstanding! Great actors, great music, great plot. They also did a good job at sticking as close to the comics while giving Venom his own role in his own film.

The first time I watched Ferdinand it was a little slow for me. The plot is a cute story, but the movie seemed to drag. However, the more I've watched it now it doesn't seem to drag on. It has many funny moments and the kids love it.

Another addicting theme song

Movie was just average in my books. I liked the first movie and plot better. I think they had the right idea for the second film, but it was harder to follow. It had funny moments, but more lulls. It didn't use the everything is awesome song as much, but it had a new addicting song that I had stuck in my head for hours after.

We've never had this issue before. I would return it to the store saying it's defective and get a replacement, especially since it's new to you. If you're not ready to return it I would contact the Best Buy staff through chat online. I've found them very helpful in the past.
