It's held up better than most

The last time I saw this movie was back when it was still in theaters and at the time it was quite pleasant but I expected it to be awful now. Much to my surprise it's still quite pleasant Will Ferrel is still likeable and everything is just overall entertaining and still brings a smile to my face. That alone earns a recommendation from me and I really don't like most Christmas or Holiday movies in general.

Commits entertainments worst sin it's boring
on January 13, 2021

This was by far the worst DC animated film I've seen. The characters were dull, villains were on dimensional and frankly barely seemed to do anything, and by the end it felt like nothing really happened. I paid $1 for this and still regret it. Ended up trading it in the next opportunity I had. Some will like it but for me I'd be happy to never see it anywhere again.

Game like a pro with this CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme gaming desktop computer. The Intel Core i7 processor and 16GB of RAM run big titles and streaming applications smoothly, while the 1TB HDD and a 500GB SSD blend massive storage and rapid boots. This CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme gaming desktop computer boasts an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER graphics card for rendering high-resolution games in detail.

Quite Pleased

I've had the desktop for a few days after needing one for multiple years and thus far it's worked without issue. Every game has worked, bluetooth has given me a good deal of range for my PS4 controller, and everything just runs fast in general. I'm extremely pleased.

Fun for fans of Assassination Classroom
on February 27, 2020
Posted by: Tsukiyomi
This is one of those series that is best watched after the original (Assassination Classroom) in full or read in full (both are good. The reason for this is simple many of the jokes are references parodying events and character traits from the original series. But overall it is a fun series so if you like the original go for it if not don't bother.

Horrible picture
on February 25, 2020

The DVD is unfortunately basically unwatchable due to how dark the film is everything just ens up looking bad if using a modern TV. The movie itself isn't good enough to make up for how bad it ends up looking nice idea, so so execution, terrible release.
I realize DVDs will never look as good as blu rays due to space limitations but this was still a bummer.

Nice sleeping pill
on February 25, 2020

It's another case of a solid case wasted on an extremely medicore film. The film just goes on and on and when things do happen it's hard to even care because the people are so boring. I'm surprised the critics ratings weren't even lower. Just absolutely terrible film. Would make a good sleeping pill though.

Pretty good
on February 23, 2020

This collection is interesting in that it's one of few that has included the original Street Fighter (I've only encountered one before this forgot the name though). As awful as that game is (among the worst I've ever played) it's still a fascinating piece of history due to what it led to. The other games really everyone knows what they are and whether they like them or not. Personally find Street Fighter 2 to be the best and 3 to be the worst (could never get into it).
Like others have said online it would have been nice to see the updated console versions of Alpha 3 but they were going soley for arcade versions here so I understand the reasoning behind it being left out.
Overall for $20 it's a decent enough price if it was higher it would be more questionable but if you enjoy it go for it. If you like Street Fighter/fighting games or are just curious about the evolution of the series go for it if nothing else it's interesting from that perspective.

Frequent co-stars Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly reteam for this absurdly hilarious take on famed detective Sherlock Holmes and his faithful sidekick, Dr. Watson. A threat on the life of Queen Victoria causes Holmes (Ferrell) and Watson (Reilly) to spring into action, leading them on a riotously ridiculous adventure as they try to track down brilliant criminal-and Holmes' arch-foe-Professor Moriarty (Ralph Fiennes). With Rebecca Hall, Kelly Macdonald, Lauren Lapkus, and Hugh Laurie. 90 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English. Two-disc set.

Move along nothing to see here
on February 23, 2020

I like both Will Ferrel and John C. Riley and I know both have the potential to be funny but not this time. I really wanted to like this movie I thought there was no way it could be as bad as the reviews and you know what I was right it was worse. Right from the start the weak jokes begin with one of them as a kid (I can't even recall which) "uncrying" than we move onto their adult stupidity. It never gets any better after that sadly. Bottom line move along nothing to see here except for a major train wreck of a film spent only $1 to get it and still regretted it.

Interesting idea but boring overall
on February 22, 2020

This falls into the category of a movie I wanted to like but just didn't for me getting through it was a slog. I didn't care if every single person in the movie met their end including Chucky (who isn't all that interesting.
Do I get why the film is appealing? Yeah I do the fact is dolls are fricken creepy those lifeless eyes that seem to stare into your soul the concept of a killer doll makes sense in that way.
But for me this one was a miss not a loss just a miss I'd rate it lower but much like I enjoyed the basic concept of the Puppet Master films I find the idea of evil dolls interesting.

A waste of time
on February 22, 2020
Posted by: Tsukiyomi
It fails to really do anything in it's run time you don't care what happens to any of the characters whether they live or die. I couldn't even bring myself to care about what was happening in the film. Only thing that kept me from being irritated that I spent money on it i that I got it at the dollar store and sold it for more than I paid wish I could get the time back though.
There are many mediocre horror movies and this is among the worst of the worst. There are enough decent ones that no one should have to waste their time on this. i'm really starting to think RLJ is the LJN of movies.
