I was surprised when I heard they had made more DIgimon Adventure movies (was surprised by how many Digimon series there are period really). But when I saw they had the first four at a local resale shop I decided to pick them up and thus far I've only watched this one. But it was good the animation seeems a bit odd to me but it's nostalgic seeing characters and a new show from a work I watched as a kid.
Bottom line if you liked the old ones this one is also worth it if not skip it.

It's pretty good overall if you can get past the short length (it's barely longer than a standard episode. It's your standard fun episode only real complaint is the length of course and the extra stuff has very little value so the price isn't great but oh well. I mostly got it because I just love Yu Yu Hakusho just hoping the rights issues with Poltergeist Report will get cleared up so it can be redubbed.

This release from the fantasy action anime series DragonBall GT includes all 31 episodes of the show's first season, following the story of the extreme fighter Goku, who is still after the fabled Dragon Balls, knowing that whoever has control of all the balls will have destructive power over the world - unless he can stop them.

A lot better than I expected

Like many I grew up watching Dragonball Z but unlike many I never watched Dragonball I tried to briefly but was honestly bored. I ended up picking up the series bit by bit after starting to watch the franchise again with the movies (Battle of Gods/Resurrection F). So I went back and decided to get the others (DBZ Kai, Dragonball, GT, Super) and I ended up watching Dragonball first and wow it was a big change. I've gotten through the first season thus far but I'm really enjoying it. I'm looking forward to going through the rest when I have the time and would recommend to anyone who likes the others.
Thankfully this series was released properly too with no nonsensical “must put in widescreen” logic applied instead leaving it as it's meant to be and I still have it covering my whole TV without zoom or anything of that nature. Also a big fan of the marathon feature some of Funimations sets have though it doesn't always work well (the now out of print Fullmetal Alchemist set is an example of it's flaw with it cutting off the end of episodes) but that's a whole different series.
The only thing I wish was that the packaging was different I've never been a fan of out of the ordinary packaging due to it potentially taking up more space/being harder if not impossible to replace. But that's a minor gripe.

I had read a lot of mediocre to negative reviews for this film but decided to give it a chance since I could get it free through the local library system and though I went in with low expectations I was still disappointed. You know a movie is bad when you can barely remember anything that happened in it minutes after watching it and yet you can't make yourself care.
The animation wasn't bad that's really all I can say.
I'm not even sure how to describe it was just bad but as bad as it was I won't say don't watch it my advice is rent it before you buy it though. I wish I could write more detail but I wish to avoid any potential spoilers.

As a kid I loved this movie so I thought why not and got it as a apart of a buy x amount get 1 free deal. Sadly even than it felt like a waste of money. The fact is this movie for me has not held up well at all most of the jokes are no longer funny. The only scenes I actually found amusing now all involved the cat guess it will have to serve as a lesson of how blinding nostalgia can initially be.
The acting itself is still fine because the actors are relatively good and Jinx is still adorable but that's the only good things I can say.

The Origin of the Naked Gun

It's actually really good the only catch is you must pay complete attention because so many of the jokes are visual. I love Leslie Nielsens work it's been the case for everything I've seen of his whether it was his best work or not and I'd suggest anyone who likes him or the Naked Gun films watch this set.

Much like the Easy Money/Men at Work collection I found this to be a mixed bag of movies with one being far superior to the other. While Once Bitten is ok it's nothing really spectacular I like Jim Carrey in it and I did enjoy it but it just doesn't care to Love at First Bite.
Love at First Bite is a movie I've loved ever since my mom first showed me it on cable one night many years ago and after that I spent a long time looking through local used media stores searching for a copy of the than rare Love at First Bite DVD. I eventually did find it but it took some time but I was happy to have it. But when I saw Scream Factory had released it on Blu Ray it was only a matter of time before I picked it up again. I've always enjoyed the monster movie parodies whether it's this, Mel Brooks Young Frankenstein, or Leslie Nielsens Love at First Bite.
All in all Love at First Bite is one of the funniest movies I've seen in my lifetime and I can't praise it enough.

This double feature includes two comedies Easy Money starring Rodney Dangerfield and Men at Work starring Emilio Estevez and Charlie Sheen.

This collection really is a mixed bag both look and sound fine but I thought Men at Work was awful.
Though I didn't like Men at Work I love Easy Money and I've always loved Rodney Dangerfield ever since I was a kid. Whether it's his films or his stand up it's always good for a laugh. I don't even know what to say beyond that if your a fan of either or both of these movies it's worth it. I'm happy Shout/Scream Factory keep releasing these movies.

It's decent enough but it had a few issues.
The villain never felt like a threat on any level which is problematic you know the hero always wins but still. Outside of that it's enjoyable enough for what it is.
Only other problem was that the original release at least have dubtitles/closed captioning subs instead of regular subtitles which is a huge over sight. My understanding is they fixed it but hard to say which copies are which and if there is any way to tell the difference.
All that being said I still enjoyed it as silly as I find the concept of this franchise to be there is just something fun about it. I also liked the dubbing censored or not too and at least most return so that helps.
Bottom linej if you enjoyed the series you'll likely enjoy this on at least some level. Would give it a 3 1/2 if I could but 4 will have to do.

It works great for me I was having problems for weeks with an old laptop harddrie that really needed to be replaced and thought it was making a weird noise (turned out to be the CD drive) but it kept crashing, slowing down, etc. I lookd up instructions on swapping it out ordered this and have been going strong for months. So I overall happy.
