A must-have for Batman fans - Especially MOTP Fans

If you're a child of the 90's, and watched Batman - The Animated Series, then you likely know this title. This was very thankfully included with the blu-ray box set of The Animated Series. So why get this if already part of the box set? The picture quality and sound got seriously beefed up! While I'm about to use a cliched phrase, I can without a doubt say it has never looked and sounded better - That's the only reason I give this 5 stars. There are downsides though - You only get the 1.85:1 aspect ratio (full image from the 4:3 is still on OG blu-ray), and no blu-ray copy of this remaster. That said, I'm also pleased this came with the full comic adaptation of this film too, and digital copy as well. If anything else, if you don't want to get this right away no shame in waiting for a sale; I cannot recommend this enough.

The Original Improved In So Many Ways

If you're a fan of this movie, and know about the whole production woes, and want all available flavors, then here's the set for you.
The picture is 95% flawless, the sound is extreme ear candy for a slow movie, and that's just the Director's Edition, which is easily the best way to enjoy the movie.
Purists will also want to see the TV cut, with a very noticeable "fix" in an otherwise infamous moment. The package is quite good, but please take care of it (it can easily be bent/damaged).

Look, aside from the awesome silliness of everything in this movie, I can't deny the amazingness of this 4k disc. The visuals are top tier, and the sound alone is worth every penny of the purchase here. If there is one 4k movie that should be listed in a "requirement" for showing off a home theatre, this belongs there in my book.

A Tarantino Classic with a nice 4k update

This is my second favorite Tarantino movie, and this Steelbook is a worthy collector's item. You're mainly paying for the 4k update, and a streamer copy of the movie. But honestly, this one begs for best possible picture too. While it's still the same 5.1 track, the job gets done all the same.
I'm glad I was able to pick this up from a nearby Best Buy. Still not a fan of lack of availability of movies in stores.

Now THIS is THE Suicide Squad; I typically do not fully acknowledge the other movie. This go around, there is fun, humor, and lots of comic book action to go with this. The 4k and atmos track both do the job splendidly.
That said, Best Buy, still giving one star less due to lack of being able to get this in store (like when I ordered this). Please reconsider this approach - Customers will be very happy.

Well priced package of an iconic 80s movie...

Got this for $15, and I am happy to say that if the picture on the blu-ray was not your jam, then this 4k edition alleviates that problem very well. You're essentially only paying for the better picture for 4k. The 5.1 mix still does the trick too, and the older extras are there as well for the curious. Yeah, the bluray included is the same as before - both a good and not so good thing.
I would do 4 stars, but lack of getting movies at my local Best Buy has been outright disappointing. While I appreciate the speedy delivery, I just wish Best Buy would return to having a wide library of movies like before.

I have a couple massive items regarding my 4-star rating. First I don't like the fact I'm unable to get this new release from my local store, and second, I was a bit upset I had to wait a week after street date to receive this.
Grievances aside, ZSJL is one of the absolute best superhero movies so far this decade. Either version will be spread across two discs, but as such that ensure superb picture and sound.
Anyway, Best Buy, please reconsider your stance on carrying movies in store.

From Michael Bay, but also not really since he was merely a producer, comes a Transformers movie no one saw coming. You get some awesome sauce sound and picture without delay, and then a sweet story that goes well with the 80s (which was also Transformers' heyday!), and it's fun for the whole family.
The extras offerings are okay, but seriously consider this set if you know you'll go 4k one day. Did I mention the steelbook is also very well made?

From the opening beats of Faltermeyer's score, to the riveting flight scenes, this movie got a lot of love in the 4k department. The picture is mostly clean, with some signs of age (but that is okay), and the Atmos audio has a lot to offer your ears (bass has a slight softness though).
You want an older movie to feel fresh? Then here's a proper offering. If you can't get the steelbook, the regular set is identical in disc offerings.
