Soooo, I got my main room system back to 7.2 and decided it was time to give my basement area a new sub. I paired this with my Yamaha RXV385, which is a 5.1 receiver. As for the basement area, it's a small room that was partitioned off from what was once a very long garage in a town home. While I'm still breaking this thing in, the music I've been throwing at it has been really doing justice in the low end response. I need to dedicate more time for some movies but so far it's fitting the bill.
One fun note, thank you BB for the awesome price ($100 for Christmas in July Sale!)! Please note this probably will not serve you well in a large room. But if you aim for simplicity and value, I totally recommend!

I've been using a 7.2 Yamaha for over 7 years now. Because of how solid that has been, it was obvious I was going to get another. I decided to "retire" another old receiver that's been in service for so long.
I'm now at a point where this is set to where I want it. I wouldve preferred a component input but it would've just been for one item anyway. Other fun features (Bluetooth, USB, AUX) are actually really handy as well. Needing something to deliver the goods in a small setting, then this is your receiver!

The Horizon Series Keeps Stacking Up More!!!

If a day ever came where a Forza Horizon game was underwhelming, this game helps ensure that won't happen for quite some time.
The main plethora of races and the customization options will keep you going at any season. Speaking of that, the rotation of seasons help keep the game fresh. A minor quibble would be to pick the season you're driving in free roam, but that is silly minor.
I've played this off and on for months. Even with one DLC, I am just not running out of things to do! This does justice for a base full price purchase!!!

Just when you thought you had enough Spiderman to go around... Sony/Marvel comes around and says, "Hold our drinks."
This movie totally earned its Oscar, and just oozes in quality AND content.
The bluray does its job, but I went 4 stars due to the 5.1 mix (but that was well done too). The extras though are rather fun though.
