I didn't end up using these as I had an identical pair in place already from a previous install. The installers checked them out and said they were in great shape and I could return the new set. That alone should show the quality of these hoses. Mine still look/perform as brand new.
I have no problem with these being auto added when you set up a delivery/install because this is one item you don't want to ignore. If they're not in top condition, replace them!

Value is in the safety aspect

Seems like decent quality and comparable to what you'd get at any big box DIY chain; pricing isn't that different either. A must buy at new installs or replacements as well as a good idea for safety's sake. Most folks don't clean their vent hoses on a regular basis and it's a real danger.
Of course, I *am* one of those crazy people who cleans it and I'd only a month ago completely replaced my vent house and bought a 90 degree angle pipe to hook it up right. So when I recently replaced an old dryer, the installer allowed me to just keep the delivered one and return it to Best Buy since it was obviously new and correctly installed.
No problems with the BB return and I saved a couple of bucks (which helps with a big purchase). But then that's one of the reasons you go to Best Buy; great returns policies and great customer service!

This gas line is required for successful hook-up of your new dryer in your home. Our delivery personnel will determine what type of gas line is needed based on your local housing code.

Average is a good thing here

The option here for new installs is the average yellow corrugated gas line. But average is a good thing; it's standard and compliant for safety standards and saves you a trip to get it elsewhere, possibly at a higher price. If you haven't replaced a gas appliance in years or decades; it's really a good idea. But also know that if you just replaced yours recently and it's in perfect condition (like mine was; I'd just had some work done) then you can talk with your installer about just using the existing one and returning the boxed one to save a couple of bucks. I did, and BB was great about it.

Good advice from BB Salesperson

When looking in this price range, the salesman gave me the best advice. I'd explained that the dryer I was replacing had a bad spot on the motor and though I'd been able to rotate the drum to get it to start again a few times, the last time I couldn't do so and figured it was finally time to replace it.
He said, "When we get vendor visits or demos, vendors go on and on about their washers; 'New features, it does this it does that, comes in these colors, etc.' Then they point to the dryer and say, '..And here's the matching dryer.' Unless you're going into the higher end appliances, the dryers in that bracket are pretty much the same." He went on to advise that, "since I was replacing my dryer, I could be expecting to replace my washer soon as well."
I thought he was trying to upsell me to a package, but instead he advised me to "look at the washer that I would consider replacing mine with and then pick the matching dryer." This way I already know what washer features/price I'd pick when that time comes, and I'd already have the matching dryer. Awesome advice.
Pretty happy with the dryer, and though I wish it had a light like my old one I don't miss it as much as I thought I would. Worth reading the manual; I got better results the next time I did laundry than the first time. Does a great job drying the clothes and reducing/preventing wrinkles.
Two cons I have to mention though; firstly, the structure of the lint filter is convoluted and it's design makes it a little harder to clean. The other is the alarm; it's truly quiet and difficult to hear between floors. I have mine connected to a power monitoring plug. I use this in concert with my home automations to broadcast when the dryer is done over my smart speakers. But if you don't have the means I do, it could be a problem. And I looked throughout the manual but there is no way to change the volume; this is a serious omission from Samsung in my opinion.
It does play a happy little tune when it powers up or finishes a cycle and I've been able to hear it from the basement door (when opened) so it's not too bad but it is a concern worth mentioning.
Other than these two *possible* issues wise, I'd definitely recommend it.

Nice, but pricey

Bought these after reviewing the starter kit, cause you can never have enough Nanoleaf lights. And while the Elements *are* really nice, I think the pricing is a bit out of whack. First of all, these aren't RGB lights, just white so they should already be cheaper than say, Canvas or Shape expansion packs. But even worse, you only get three instead of four like in the Canvas or Shapes expansions.
I love Nanoleaf, but I think they're getting a little aggressive in their pricing strategy and are going to price themselves out of competition. They need to realize they are no longer the only option out there!

Went through 2 units, both ended up not connecting

Reviewed this unit previously, was working great until it stopped connecting to the network for no good reason. Had other Eufy cams further away and they connected with no issues. Because I was working with a developer on support for this camera in an open source app I use, I decided to purchase another one (since I got the first one free as part of BB's TIN program.
Connected it to the network and put in place. 2-3 days later the same thing happened. I brought it inside and put it next to my router and still couldn't connect. I think it might be a firmware issue but I returned it and can't recommend it anymore. Thankfully BB's great returns policy made it easy.

Seems like this question was ignored, but can it be turned on via switch? To replace an existing flood light which operates by switch, don't want to use the app each time. Also, how easy to install replacing existing flood without motion detection?
1. You could turn it on and off with a switch, but when you power it off you will no longer get video or motion detection.
2. Replacing an existing floodlight with this one is very easy. Turn off power to your light. Unmount your old flood light and disconnect the wires. Using the included hook, hook the floodlight to the fixture to keep it in place while you connect the wires. Then mount it back up.

I'm older and like the wired versions. I read a response, and it states that the bulb can't be replaced on the floodlight. Is that correct? Help me understand.
