Great camera either way...

In short: A no brainer if you already have other Ring products like a doorbell or alarm, but should be considered even if you don't.
I was lucky enough to test out the Stick Up cam via a beta tester program with Ring a while back and was really impressed with the performance and Ring's engineers responsiveness to the beat tester's suggestions and questions about the HW and the app's interactions with it.
As a beta tester, I received a free camera to test and was allowed to keep it after I submitted my reviews, test results and posted questions. I liked it so much, when I saw this one on sale I bought it.
Person detection is good, but I can see things that could be better. But I know there are more improvements to come soon via firmware updates, so I'm looking forward to some of my needs/wants being met.
And the recordings are really great; have some great footage of deer on my front lawn that other cams missed. Raccoons too; had no idea my place was so popular.

This was my first premium brand tablet; I've cheaped out in the past and paid the price so I thought I'd save money buying quality in the first place.
Glad I did - really love this tablet. Samsung did a great job with the shell and it's really a good home screen/app manager. Feels good in your hands; light an sleek.
In fact the only thing keeping me from using it every day is the fact that I recently got an Samsung S7FE! LOL Everything I liked about the Tab A, in a bigger size. I still find myself bringing this around the house when I'm adding smart devices or stuff and I'll probably turn it into a smart home display at some point.
After buying this, I didn't want to go with anything less and I think you'll really like this tablet.

Everything I need and 10yrs of battery!

I recently replaced my 1st gen Protect with this new 2nd gen unit as I'd had them in place for 10 years and CO/Smoke alarms expire within 10 years. I didn't know this, but when 'their time came', the Nest app notified me, along with a really good explanation of why.
That's the kind of security I've come to expect with Nest Protects and not only did I replace them, but acquired an additional battery unit for my basement. Now I'm covered on all floors of my home.
They're easy to work with and don't go nuts right away when you burn some toast. Easy to test and easy to see if they're working with the 'Nightly Promise' light you'll see when you walk by them. A nonintrusive way of letting you know once a night that they are working.
I have to add that I ran my 1st gens for 10 years with a couple of alarms over those years and the batteries were still running strong. Some excellent programming to maximize the battery life while still giving real time alarm results. Something to think about.

Everything I want from a smart smoke/CO alarm

Did you know that after 10 years, a smoke/CO alarm becomes less and less reliable and viable and should be replaced? I didn't. My old Nest Protects did and they told me so. I like that sort of info as opposed to an alarm that just starts beeping for no reason and makes you guess why. My Nest app not only notified me but it gave me an explanation why with valuable information.
This is yet one of the reasons I decided to not only stick with the platform and replace them but also to buy an additional unit for the basement. I like how they're all integrated and aware of each other so the alarms all go off but announce where the issue is. I have one hardwired and two battery units; one for each floor.
I don't like how they aren't supported in the new Works with Google program but I'm hoping they'll be moved over soon. Until then, they live in the limbo between the Nest app and the Google Home app, but I'll trade that for the moment for the feeling of security I get and the ease of dealing with them. No false alarms, no going off when you burn toast. That included 'night light mode' that not only goes off when you're walking around in the dark but also guides you in case of smoke!
One note: if you're still running a 1st gen Protect, be aware that the mounting system and wiring harness have changed. Minor inconvenience, but it's not a direct replacement.

I was really pleased with the base station kit and how well it worked that I immediately purchased this add on camera. I like the fact that the vids are stored locally and don't require a cloud for anything other than remote access. I wish that Eufy would publish an API for their cams though; I have this working in HomeAssistant but the functionality is limited due to them not having a real API available.

Paired easily, great color range and decent lux

Bought these to replace a couple of older GE-Link bulbs that used to be on a Wink Hub; now on a zigbee stick. They still worked, but due to their distance from the hub they would often disconnect and if left long enough would drop off the network and have to be paired again.
I'd received a free Sengled White bulb with a Echo Show package and was impressed with it so I decided to give their RGB lights a try. They paired quickly and once put into their location, quickly built in a good mesh; this is important because not only is this keeping them online, it's also helping the other devices in that location.
Brightness level was good for me (not a flood but also not a nightlight!) and I'm really pleased with the color rendition and range. Build is solid and I'd even chance these in an enclosed outdoor fixture; I'm still using GE-Links outside - for well over 6 years now - and the Sengled build is at least a magnitude better.
Competitively priced (and they even go on sale) and solid performer. What's not to like?

Yes, a Pixel Watch 4 with expired LTE service will still work perfectly fine, but it will function like the standard Wi-Fi model, relying on Bluetooth to stay connected to your phone for most features; you just lose the ability to make calls, get texts, or stream music independently when away from your phone. It will still tell time, run apps, track fitness, and use Google Assistant via your phone's connection.

Seems like this question was ignored, but can it be turned on via switch? To replace an existing flood light which operates by switch, don't want to use the app each time. Also, how easy to install replacing existing flood without motion detection?
1. You could turn it on and off with a switch, but when you power it off you will no longer get video or motion detection.
2. Replacing an existing floodlight with this one is very easy. Turn off power to your light. Unmount your old flood light and disconnect the wires. Using the included hook, hook the floodlight to the fixture to keep it in place while you connect the wires. Then mount it back up.

I'm older and like the wired versions. I read a response, and it states that the bulb can't be replaced on the floodlight. Is that correct? Help me understand.
