Really neat to have this one out, it's fairly accurate to the comic in colors and looks. I personally would have like the blue one, but they made that some exclusive somewhere, so I had to settle for this.
Articulation isn't stellar, but you'd be paying more for some really articulate. He's not gonna dab or do Spiderman type poses, but you can at least get him into more than a T-pose.

It seems all the other reviews are raving about these monitors. Let me start off by saying they aren't bad and I haven't had any serious issues with them, but as soon as I find something else, I'm not keeping these.
The colors are good, the response times are fine, the menu and the options are easy to manage, but there is just one major, glaring issue that makes me wish I had not bought them.
I can see the individual pixels.
The color blue (ironically, even on Best Buy's own site) really makes this an issue. If I had to make a comparison, it looks like an old CRT monitor/TV. Now, this wouldn't be so bad if I was retro gaming, but games like DOOM Eternal, GTAV and WoW are hardly "retro" and I expect clear, crisp visuals.
If I really lean in close, I could almost count each pixel. The monitors sit about two feet away from me on a dual arm monitor mount, so I'm not THAT close and I can still see them.
Also, they apparently forgot to install speakers on this particular model. Windows picks these up as an option audio device, but there are no speakers. Having speakers on a monitor is not a deal-breaker since I mainly run headphones anyway, but it seems like that was quite an oversight to have missed.
Lastly, the auto-input selection is completely broken. I have to set the input to HDMI/Display Port only (depending on what I was using to test) because if I set it to automatically detect what it is plugged in and I set Windows to turn the monitors off after a certain time, they will turn back on with a blank screen attempting to search for another input when Windows turns them off. This is another feature that wouldn't bother me except I DID plan on using it as I can hook up a bluray player to them and in order to use it now, I have to manually go into settings and turn it to another input to use the player.
So, they aren't bad by any means, but I should have saved my money and bought something better.

It's like going from a Briggs to a Honda

I've "suffered" for nearly ten years with a standard 8000-ish BTU window unit. I even had installed an aftermarket soft-start capacitor so it would make it quieter. It was fine, but it was time for an upgrade. I knew about the other brand (starts with Mid) and how the window closed down around the unit, but I saw GE had one and it closed the opposite way and I was sold.
First thing to get out of the way. You can read reviews and you can watch all the videos you want. None of it will do justice just how quiet this thing really is. It's not just having the compressor outside the window, they really went all out to make this thing quiet. It does have a soft start option built in, this means when the compressor kicks in, you don't get that loud, annoying "thunk" like your standard window units. Anyone who has worked with small engines knows how noisy even standard high end motors can be and how quiet a high end Honda motor can be. This is much like that.
I ran it today, it was sunny and 70 with a 30mph wind (we're turning into Chicago apparently). My room faces the sun and it's the middle room on the front, so even on cooler days with the sun out, my room can hit nearly 80 degrees. It cooled the room down in about ten minutes and kept cooling all night... then the temp dropped to 45 (because, Michigan) and I had to turn it off. I won't really know how well it works until summer, but so far I like it.
Installation is... well, it's installed. The instructions are about as bad as you can get. Yes, they say what all the parts are and what to do with them, but it's not laid out very well and by the end of it, I sort of made my own way and it worked out fine. I was able to close my window and have it sealed off, so that's what's important.
One thing that really bugged me was it developed a rattle and it was driving me crazy trying to find out where it was. Somehow, after installation, the metal plate just under the window was making contact with the inside bit that makes up the extension portion of the unit. This was solved with just a small bit of foam to make it quiet. I'm not going to knock a star for that, maybe your installation will be better.
Overall, I'm happy with it and I hope it lasts.

A great figure with flaws

It really gives you that '86 movie look that we've all come to recognize. He's very posable and his joints are all nice and tight. The colors are all bright (except the trailer, but for obvious reasons) and they just scream Optimus Prime.
He is not without flaws, though. You're most likely aware of the heel issue where they have been installed upside down and on opposite feet. There are ways to correct this if you research it a bit. There is also some fairly sloppy paint work. I've seen more than just my copy with paint splatters and paint chips right out the box.
Honestly, for such a hyped figure and the price point he was placed at, you should be getting very minimal issues, but they're all very noticeable and really detract from this being an excellent figure.
I don't usually mark down figures for minor things, but there are too many flaws that should have been addressed from the very beginning and to have parts put on wrong is unacceptable.
When you buy a car, you expect the paint to be perfect and the lines to be straight.

I recently discovered the green Interceptor and when I went to purchase it, one of the recommended items was this set of three ships.
This is a box set of the Interceptor, Republic Gunship, and Sith Infiltrator. The box they come in is a Hot Wheels factory box and is stamped "complete set of 3, do not open". This means that you won't find these three ships anywhere in a box other than here!
Don't miss out on this collection, I don't see them popping up on other sites for reselling, you don't want to miss this.

Been collecting the Starships Selects since they first debuted and I came across this on eBay, but found it much, much cheaper here (obviously).
It is a Best Buy exclusive, meaning not only is it a special deco, the number on the box is 1/1, but there's actually an entire set apart from this.
Best Buy also has an exclusive 3-pack of ships that include this, a Republic gunship and Sith Infiltrator. This Interceptor shows the other two ships in the collection.
It's not just a couple re-released ships, the box they come in specifically says "set of three, do not separate", meaning that if you're collecting EVERYTHING, this is a set of four ships you don't want to miss!

Don't watch this after midnight

Gremlins was one of the first movies to show that you can have two genres in one movie to appeal to a wider audience. It's both a Christmas movie and a Halloween movie, much like 'Nightmare Before Christmas' and 'Die Hard'... ok, that's an action movie that takes place during Christmas, but you can watch it any time, even Christmas!
It mixes a bunch of horror and humor in a good balance so that it doesn't sway too far one way. The gremlins themselves are quite the scary bunch, but they also enjoy Snow White. They wreck machinery and are extremely ill-tempered, but they'll head to the local bar for a cold one.
It doesn't have a huge cast, but that's alright because the creatures are the true stars of the movie. A lot of practical effects went into making the gremlins (and Gizmo) come to life, I cannot fathom how much work they did to pull it off. One scene alone has dozens of them in a theater.
It's a great movie if you're looking for a bit campy and scary.

Gets funnier every single time I see it

Some people might argue about what Tim Burton's finest work is, but Beetlejuice is right up there at the top. A lot of his work is good, but aside from Batman, nothing ever gained quite the cult following of this movie.
Everyone in this movie is great, Alec Baldwin hasn't yet gone crazy, Gena Davis continues her best valley girl routine, Micheal Keaton delivers Beetlejuice on a silver platter, and Cathrine O'Hara just plays herself as she always does. And I don't mind.
Alec Baldwin and Gene Davis are Adam and Barbra, the newlywed couple who "take a wrong turn" and end up dying, only to come back as cursed ghosts who must live in their house for all eternity. As they... live... with the fact that they are dead and try to cope, their (after)lives are uprooted by their home being bought by Charles and Deelia Deets (played by Jeffery Jones and Cathrine O'Hara).
They befriend Charles' daughter, Lydia (Wynona Ryder), a self loathing teen on the verge of suicide (not really) and eventually come across the ghost with the most himself, Beetlejuice (Micheal Keaton).
After release Beetlejuice from his grave, they must find a way to put him back and get the Deet's out of their home for good, but things don't go as planned...

Anyone who has not seen The Goonies is really missing out. It has everything from car chases to pirate ships, Italian mobsters to crooked business men, Superman to giant squids... ok, maybe not so much.
One of the most notable things about this movie that a lot of us kids remember is the inclusion of one of the first of the second gen Jeep Cherokee's in a chase scene after Ma Fratelli breaks her two son's out of jail. It also featured an epic score in the beginning that really sets the pace for the entire scene.
The rest of the movie follows the "goonies" who find a hidden pirate treasure map and use it to find clues to the pirate horde while being followed by Ma Fratelli and her two boys in an effort to save their homes from a corporation wanting to buy the land cheap to put up condos.
It certainly is a movie of its time, featuring everything that was going on in the 80's between the music, the arcades, the clothing, it's like a little time casual giving a glimpse to what it was like to be in the 80's.
