Wasn’t sure what to expect from this film. I was very surprised how much I enjoyed it. This is a top of the line Marvel film for sure. The characters, visuals, story and direction are all excellent. Plenty of action, character development, and humor. The film does slow down a bit in the third act, but ends with a bang. The steelbook is excellent as well, a must own.

Old school war

I’ve owned this film since it was first released on DVD. I love the old hand drawn animations. I’m also a fan of sci-fi anime. This is without question a classic. I do enjoy watching this on an annual basis. I originally ordered the collectors edition, but BB canceled my order. This one came up for preorder so I got this one. The picture looks great, and very clean. No extras but then I didn’t expect any. A solid buy on blu-ray.

I actually liked the first film, so not sure why they made this one. I’m also a fan of JG the director, even though his films of late have been meh. Comparing the two films, the first is like a live action, and this one the cartoon version. The characters and colors are all bright, gaudy and campy. There’s no real emotion in this, just played for laughs. So overall a disappointment for me.
The steelbook is awesome though, and has some decent extras.

Fangs so much

The first two films blew me away when I saw them in the theater. I wasn’t so sure about the third one without Kate, but I enjoyed that one very much. Going into the fourth film, I didn’t like it. Too much Bad CGI for my taste. With repeated viewings though it has since grew on me. Last but not least is number five, and Kate kills it in this one.
This is a nice set with all five films. Great case that sits well on the shelf. Plenty of extras for hours of enjoyment. The price is also perfect for this set. You really shouldn’t pass this up.

This is one of my favorite superhero movies. A very subtle character driven film. This film was made before the director went off the rails. Also doesn’t hurt that Bruce stars in it, one of my favorite actors. This is well written with a great cast. The steelbook is very cool, and a must own.

I own the collectors edition on the 360, and enjoyed the game. I thought I would pick up the remaster. The visuals have been improved, and it looks pretty good. I always found the game a little frustrating in spots. My mind still hasn’t changed on that. I was also hoping for some extras, but nothing included. It’s a cool little horror game, but is is worth playing again? I would say if you own the 360 version, you don’t need to buy it again. Otherwise if you never played it, then do pick it up.

I actually saw this in the theater when it first came out. I was the only one there if you can believe that. It scared the heck out of me, and I loved the film. Years later this film still holds up, and I own many copies. This is a great steelbook of a classic film. I also own the Arrow Video edition, which has more content. If you’re a fan this is a no brainer.

I needed a new headset for MS team meetings at work. The meetings usually last a half hour to an hour. These were on sale for a great price so I figured why not. They’re made pretty well and the sound is decent. As others have stated the symbols on the switch are too dark, and the fancy lights are really not needed. I found that these hurt my ears after awhile, and made my ears hot. The padding isn’t soft enough, and the cups could be slightly larger. I wouldn’t want to wear these all day. I figure for under ten bucks it’s a decent headset, even with the flaws.

Bloated masterpiece?

I actually enjoyed the original film when it was released. No it wasn’t perfect but then no DC film is. This cut is very long, with many scenes that wouldn’t normally make it in. Heck, it takes almost two hours just to introduce the main characters. A lot of scenes are just fluff and feel awkward. It also has some strange musical choices.
The steelbook is nice and it has some good extras. This will be a film I will watch maybe once a year. It’s just too darn long to watch in one sitting. I’m glad that the studio let Zack bring his vision to the world though.

First this is a awesome steelbook, pick it up while you can. The movie is pretty good, a whole lot of girl power going on. Doesn’t overwhelm you with agenda which is good. Some of the action sequences were a little over the top. Plenty of humor in this, and I had some good laughs. All the actors were great, and the story was solid. Nice addition to the Marvel universe.
