I owned this game on the PS3, but never finished it. I wasn’t overly impressed with the game. The remaster was on sale so I thought I would give it another shot. They cleaned up the graphics and gameplay which was nice. Overall though it’s still the same game. It won’t blow you away, but some people will love it. I’m going to try and finish it this time. If you like hack and slash RPG then give it a shot.

I’ve been playing Tempest since the original arcades. Those were the days my friends. I pick this game up with every system it’s available on. This is a great version, that you can spend hours with. Things on screen can get a little chaotic and distracting though. Nothing beats the simplicity of the original. That said I still had a lot of fun with the new updated version. Fans rejoice and pick this up.

I’ve been a fan since the original anime. I love futuristic intelligent anime, with AI and cyborgs. This series is great, well written and animated. This takes place before the Major had her usual team. If you love GITS, then you will love this. Too bad series 3&4 is kind of hard to find and expensive. I did find it new for under 40 bucks though. Buy this!

I really enjoyed the first film, so I was in for round two. This one gives you a preview of how it all started. The plot is centered on the daughter, who tends to put peoples lives in danger. She does the same thing here, but they try hard to make her the hero.
The story is okay but not very deep, but the direction is top notch.
Before I knew it the movie was over, so not a lot of story progression. It does lead into the obvious third film. So if you liked the first one, then you should like this. Let’s hope the next one ups the ante.

Who, who are you?

Not sure why MS brought this machine to market. Who is it exactly made for? Resellers, emulation junkies, hardcore gamers or casual gamers? Basically this is old gen with limited storage. The machine is slick and compact though. The controller isn’t bad, although it takes batteries. You can by a rechargeable battery pack, which I will invest in.
Some of the old games for this are very expensive. I can buy the disc games cheaper. You can find some great deals though. I picked up Batman AA and Batman AC bundle for under 5 bucks. One game took up about 9% storage. I guess if you’re into older games you might like this.
So this won’t be for everyone, and I wouldn’t pay reseller high prices. If you can wait I would pick up the Xbox series X. I can’t see long term value in this machine. Also Best Buy didn’t pack in shipping box. They just wrapped it in plastic. The box arrived in bad shape. Luckily MS designed a great box, the machine was cradled safely. I would pick up in store if you can.

I never read the books, so I went into this movie blind. The movie also bombed at the box office. I found this movie very enjoyable. Sure the cities on wheels theme is rather silly. Why not have cities in the sky? The sky ships were very cool. The main thing I enjoyed were the characters, especially the female lead. As long as the story stayed on the characters, it moved along rather well. One word of advice, if you’re going to build a wall for defense, don’t build your homes next to it. Don’t listen to the professional critics, just give the movie a chance. You just might enjoy it as well.

I wasn’t a big fan of FC3, sorry folks. I did love Primal though, and still play that game. This one was on sale so I thought why not. I thought the game was just okay. I guess I’m not a fan of the normal Far Cry games. There is plenty to do, and shoot but after awhile I just got bored. Gameplay is rinse and repeat. I gave it 4 stars since there’s so much to explore, and sometimes I just drive around. Far Cry fans should love it though.

This is my second attempt to review, my first one never posted. This is a classic of the genre, a slasher with heart. Yes, the acting isn’t the best but most were not professional actors. The director did a great job, too bad he didn’t get a sequel. If you love 80’s horror then you should already have purchased. If you’re on the fence, give it a rental. The steelbook is awesome!

Classic movie, classic cast and classic music. We all have our stories from High school, both good and bad. Most of us have had a High school sweetheart. Most of us can relate to this movie. So what are you waiting for?
The steelbook is great, but there isn’t a lot of extras. I would have loved a script to screen documentary. Oh well, it’s still worth every penny, enjoy!

Great movie, okay Blu-ray

Great movie from the 80’s, that still holds up today. Classic cast as well. I also own the special edition on DVD, and this Blu-ray has most of the same extras. This movie really needs 4K treatment, since the picture is kind of soft on this steelbook release. It’s just not as sharp as it should be, and only slightly better than the DVD. The disc takes a long time to load on my PS4. I also received a disc error which worried me. Even with the disc issue, I will keep this in my collection.
The steelbook though is awesome.
