One of the best interpretations of Batman, Gotham, Riddler, etc. in ages. Every frame of this film oozes with character, and the plot is so tightly and well woven. I've been waiting for ages to see the true detective side of Batman, and this film delivers in spades. Matt Reeves truly understands the character and world, and lets them all breathe in ways the DCEU hasn't since its incarnation. If you're a film noir fan, and especially if you're a Batman fan, you can't miss this.

Multiverse of Madness is a breath of fresh air to the MCU. While not everyone's cup of tea, this has Sam Raimi's fingerprints all over it, and is thusly every bit as bonkers and visually appealing as you would hope for. I really hope we see more horror elements in the MCU soon.

The classic adventure films have never looked or sounded better, with a gorgeous 4K restoration that makes everything pop. Each film is presented in a beautiful white steelbook featuring minimalist art that represents the plot device for each film. Unfortunately, the outer box that houses the steels is very thin cardboard, and as such is prone to dents and tears. It would have been nice to have gotten a hard plastic or steel case like other series have gotten recently. Still, if you're a fan of the series, these are definitely a must-have!

The movie itself is just as visually pleasing, with a heartfelt story and fully realized world to boot, and a heroine that makes a wonderful role model.
