Every Season Gets Better!

Rebels has always been an underrated show. While a little light and episodic in season 1, it quickly takes off in season 2 onward, and season 3 brings two of the series’ best villains- Maul and Thrawn- into the fray. The writing, characters, and arcs have never been better. Should be required viewing for all fans!

Some of the most influential, masterfully done fantasy movies of all time have never looked better. All the films have been color corrected and filtered so that they bear the same style. The colors have never popped or been more vibrant, and the sound is just impeccable. The steelbooks feature stunning artwork that perfectly capture each film, all compiled in a lovely outer case. For fans of the series, this is perhaps the best way you can have such beloved movies.

A fairly divisive movie among Star Wars fans, but I loved it. A unique look and feel for a Star Wars film, it definitely leans more into the western-inspired stylings of Han Solo himself, and backs it up with a colorful, memorable secondary cast and wonderful effects and score. I do wish the front and back artwork of the steel were reversed, however, as having an off-center shot of the Falcon on front is a little....jarring?

The movie was one of my most anticipated, and it didn't disappoint. Lovely in visuals and storytelling, it doesn't quite reach the heights of the original, but tells a story much needed in this day and age. I had a blast. The steelbook is lovely as well, even if the art choice is a little baffling- they would have been better to reverse the inner and outer art, but I'm just glad to have it in my collection!

New Mutants had a lot of potential, and it mostly lives up to it. Its biggest problem, I think, was the marketing not excactly reflecting what the movie is, but that's not a new problem. It's at least a somewhat fresh take on the superhero genre, even if some of the story falls flat at times. If you go in with an open mind, you may just have a pretty fun time. I do wish the steelbook was a little more vibrant, even if it does fit the movie fairly well.
