Hasbro has definitely upped their game when it comes to paint apps and facial printing. While the base figure remains mostly the same in terms of sculpt and articulation, the updated facial tech adds so much more life to the character. Even if you got the original figure, it could definitely be worth picking this one up.

What else is there to say about Hocus Pocus at this point? It's a classic feel-good Halloween movie. So much fun, memorable performances and quotes. As far as steelbooks go, this may just take the cake for most inventive. It's the freaking Book of Spells, complete with a spell inside! Immersive, fun, and a great display piece!

One of my biggest guilty pleasure movies finally gets a glorious steelbook release. I may be a little bias, but this has to be one of the most colorful, vibrant, eye-popping steels out there! Comes with a lovely plastic slip to protect the steel, and 4 collectible playing cards that really play into the everyday superhero theme of the movie. For lovers of action, comedy, and just the right amount of over-the-top violence, this is a must-have!

One of the first Disney movies based on one of its attractions, Tower of Terror is certainly dated. It doesn't have the flashy effects or action of Pirates of the Caribbean, and its scares are definitely more family-focused, but it's still a fun, nostalgic watch for any fans of the park or attraction. As long as you can get over the cheesy effects and acting, you may just have a good time. It's a great Halloween movie that the whole family can enjoy, and has definitely become a guilty pleasure for me.

Fury Road has no right to be as good as it is. What appears at first glance to be just another testosterone fest is actually a well-thought-out, intricately crafted, non-stop thrill ride from beginning to end. It immediately envelops you in its world and doesn't let up until the credits roll. There's so many details jammed in that it may take multiple viewings to get them all, but even without them, it's still a heck of a movie on its own, and it's never looked or sounded better than on 4K, where even the sandy desert tones are vibrant, and the sound is absolutely incredible. The steelbook is a little plain, I feel, but still the best way to go for fans and collectors like me.

While far from perfect, the Avengers game does a suitable job in crafting a fresh narrative away from the mega-popular MCU films. It's a game with a ton of grinding, which isn't everyone's style, and the difficulty can be intense even on the lowest setting, but the graphics and fun characters help balance it out a little. I'd recommend waiting for a price drop to really feel like you got your money's worth.

The steelbook really draws the eye, and, like the movie, has so many details jammed in and is just so darn fun (the Time Warp instructions on the inside is a great touch). The Evil Dead movies are absolute Halloween classics. Schlocky and gory in all the best ways, they really pop on 4K, even if some of the effects are a little dated (they still hold up surprisingly well, though, and add to the charm). The steelbook is beautiful, and comes in a wonderful clear sleeve for protection. This release is a must-have for any fans of the genre.
