This is definitely one of the most comfortable headsets I have used. The mic is still probably the best I have ever come across when it comes to cancelling out keyboard noise, etc. In the end I was able to get an internal sound card and I also just love Sennheiser products. I wanted to go the FTW3 route as well but in the end I don’t think it is really worth it. I’ve had 0 problems with temps. I’ve adjusted my fan curve a little to make it more preventative but on heavy loads and with a little overclock I sit right around 60 degrees which is perfectly fine.
