I really hope Corsair never goes away from the form of this mouse. I absolutely love how this one fits in my hand. I will be buying this model line as long as it exists. Had the prior one and loved it that I wanted to have a 2nd one for work. This one feels slightly smaller than the prior model but it still is hands down my favorite. Haven't had any hardware issues for several months now.

I like the quality of this product but it is a bit expensive for what it is. The hub itself gets hot to the touch but I think that is just because it isn't very efficient and not due to it being unsafe.

As far as performance goes, this works beautifully! Please note though that you can not mix and match fans on Corsair's lighting nodes. It will only be able to manage one model of fan at a time when it comes to the lighting. This wasn't a deal breaker for me as I know in the future I will want to be a 3 pack of these that comes with another one. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love the Corsair hard mousepads. This mousepad has the same great surface but it doesn't have any RGB and it takes up 2 USB ports. I like that the additional USB slot is over to the left instead of in the middle but I still will take Corsairs original. It just looks better.

I wanted to go the FTW3 route as well but in the end I don’t think it is really worth it. I’ve had 0 problems with temps. I’ve adjusted my fan curve a little to make it more preventative but on heavy loads and with a little overclock I sit right around 60 degrees which is perfectly fine.

Does this adapter get hot? I purchased one and it gets extremely hot just with HDMI.
Yep, mine gets really hot. Not sure why but it doesn't seem to be "unsafe." Just seems to be inefficient.
