Worth the 4K Upgrade

Fury is one of the best, if not the best, WWII films from this past decade! It is dramatic, gritty, highly realistic, and has excellent performances by the cast. I had this on blu-ray and decided to upgrade when I saw it on sale during Black Friday for $9.99 and couldn't pass it up at that price!!
The 4K/HDR is beautiful and is definitely a step up from the blu-ray version (included in the package) and the Dolby Atmos audio is one of the best that you will hear. Watching the film, during combat sequences, you can hear shells and bullets flying from all directions and explosions make full use of a sub-woofer. There is a wide range of bonus features that are split between the 4K and blu-ray discs. If you have any interest in WWII, Fury should be on your list.

I love my 4K Steelbook, no scratches, no dents! The steelbook is in excellent condition and just what I wanted! I bought this steelbook just for the steelbook!! I mean it is gorgeous and has some of the best artwork on a Best Buy steelbook to date!! The only downside is that the transfer is the same as the horrible original 4K transfer and it is not the extended version! That being said I absolutely love this steelbook!!!

American Psycho 4K Steelbook

American Psycho is, forgive me for calling such a young film this, a classic. It is one of those films that you either hate it or you love it, there is no in-between. Not to sound pretentious, but you need a certain level of knowledge and persistence to really watch this movie to its end to truly enjoy it despite its nuances. This is a great 1980s satire film about those who worked on Wall Street and its culture during this time. This really is a true classic and should be on every movie collector’s shelves.
Such a beautiful steelbook for a phenomenal film, it certainly can't be missing from your collection. Lionsgate has been killing it with their steelbook releases lately! The packaging alone of this steelbook is alone a brilliant piece of art. The slip and cover are from the most iconic scene of the movie, the back cover gives the bloodied ax, and the inside art is of Patrick Bateman’s business card but is blank underneath the discs. Thus, this is a must-have for all fans out there of the film, American Psycho.

Underworld Collection 4K Box Set

This movie collection is a quilty pleasure of mine! If you love the underworld movies, as I do, then this is certainly the collection to buy! With this set, you get all five movies on 4K, a blu-ray copy of each movie, plus there also is a digital copy of each movie. Pretty sure up until now only the first underworld and the last one blood wars were put on 4K but now all five are available on 4K. previously when the first underworld was put onto 4K the 4K disc did not have the unrated extended version it only had the theatrical but this release of the 4k disc has both cuts of the movie. I do really love that with his box that each movie is in its own individual case and has a slipcover and so therefore all the discs were nice and snug in their case and none of them were loose. I wish more movie box sets were designed this way.

When I saw this movie at the Black Friday sale, I had to add it to my ever-growing 4K collection! Who doesn't love this movie, Die Hard?! This is a classic action movie that should be in everybody’s collection, whether it be physical or digital! It is such a great movie! It is such a great upgrade to 4K! The picture and sound quality are incredible! Fantastic home theater effects!

This Movie Really ramps up! Actually, the coolest visuals are when the movie Ends! The visual effects are incredible! But, the 4K disc, only has the theatrical version, and the blu-ray disc has the unrated cut of the movie. Other than that, the whole movie, every time I have seen it, makes me laugh. Other than that, the movie looks awesome!

Combined with the recent Braveheart release comes this Gladiator 20th Anniversary 4K steelbook release. This film has been well-reviewed at this point, so I will quickly express my thoughts on the presentation itself and it is fantastic! The interior is interesting with a shot of the Tigris of Gaul scene, and it captures one of the best moments in the film. I am pleasantly surprised the US received such an excellent steelbook. Keep them coming, Best Buy!

Wonder Woman 1984: A Decent Sequel to Wonder Woman

Ok, this one is tough to review. The critics and film lovers have condemned this film. For one thing, the first Wonder Woman film with Gal Gadot was amazing, in my opinion. It set such a high bar that this sequel just didn’t quite reach the previous film's expectations. That being said, this film isn't necessarily a poor film, it just doesn't meet the expectations I had going into this one. Unfortunately, the hype I received from the trailer didn't carry over while watching the movie.
There are plenty of great moments though, and the actresses/actors all play their roles very well. Gal Gadot makes an incredible Wonder Woman overall and Kristen Wiig shines as Barbara Minerva, aka Cheetah. Pedro Pascal is charismatic as always playing Maxwell Lord, and Chris Pine returns as Steve Trevor, though I won't spoil how that works. I thought it had a great moral message, about lusting after power, money, and greed of war. Even Wonder woman herself learned a valuable lesson. The film was not perfect. However, I would give it a grade of "B" as it was filmed beautifully.
The steelbook’s design is fantastic. It even sparkles when you put light close to it. So, if you're a collector of good-looking steelbooks this is one of them.
