This is a powerful miniseries about the aftermath of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in the ex-soviet union in 1986. It's an incredible drama of government cover-up and corruption, was well the same government moving heaven and earth to prevent a radioactive holocaust. It's the story of extremely brave people trying to do the right thing. You really should watch this miniseries and see for yourself why it won awards.

It all takes place in Derry, Maine where the same seven best friends have grown up and returned to fight against Pennywise - IT - for the last time. Pennywise has been around for a long time and has great power, but our seven must fight him while fighting their own demons. A great second film and worth the watch!

There has been 3 versions of this film made, and this is the one to watch! Greta Gerwig has taken the classic book and turned it into the best film version of it yet! I guess it just took a woman's vision.
The film is about the 4 young March sisters who are all out to live life on their own terms. The story centers around Jo March played by Saoirse Ronan who turns in an outstanding performance. Jo wants to be a writer. Her other sisters are played wonderfully by Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, and Eliza Scanlen. Supporting players are Laura dean, Meryl Streep, and Timothee Chalamet.
This is a worthwhile film to see, and I strongly recommend it!

This time around the IM Force are out to recover plutonium. Hot stuff. So the Team has to use some of their special tricks and abilities to recover it.

Most people don't know much about WW1 - the war to end all wars - but this film gives us a glimpse into it. Like Dunkirk it is a harrowing experience. This film really is staggering! The war scenes are portrayed in a gritty style and best of all the film is shot in a style that makes it seem like it all took place as one long shot.
You'll recognize the actors Colin Firth and Benedict Cumberbatch who have small parts in this film. Otherwise the film is carried by George MacKay and by Dean-Charles Chapman. Their performances are outstanding!
The film was directed by Sam Mendes.

I'd needed a subwoofer to fill out the bottom end of my sound system. I was on a budget so I bought this little Polk based on the reviews I'd read on the Best Buy website. Most were positive so I gave them a shot.
I was very surprised! Are they the last word in bottom-end base? No. But for the amount of money I spent on this speaker, I got much more in the way of value. My listening room is fairly small and this little speaker does a good job filling it up with good deep base. And this woofer matches up well with my bookshelf Sony's! Give it a chance!
