A fine pair of speakers!

I bought these speakers on sale during the Christmas Holiday. I needed to replace my 30year old PolkM5 jr.'s. I wasn't sure what to expect from these speakers. I'd read some of the other costumer reviews of them and decided to give them a try.
I was very surprised! Are they high end JBL's, high end Polk's, or Definitive's? No. But the sound that comes out of them is the sound you get from much more expensive speakers. The sound field and staging extends out past the the speakers. The sound stage also has depth to it.
So if you want high quality speakers and are on a budget give these a listen!

This is a fine installment of the Terminator franchise. Best of all it's been updated to what society looks like now, as well as bringing back the original Sarah Connor!
This film has a slightly different twist. Sarah and her crew did stop the apocalypse that was to come, but fate managed bring about an apocalypse at a later date and cause. A terminator comes back through time and does kill John Conner. But instead of Kyle comes a new female character whose a modified human! Killer!
This film is very bit as good as the others. Give it a watch!

Great cinematic history!

Every once in a while a film comes along both powerful and inspiring. This recent Midway film is one of them. I won't compare it to the original Midway movie released in 1976. I have that film as well. All I'll say here is that this movie explains in greater depth what led up to Pearl Harbor. The action sequences are top-notch, the acting and direction are also top-notch. The movie got some bad reviews from a few critics - ignore them. This film is a great film! If you haven't already seen it give it a chance, it's worthwhile.

You might think that this would be dark and macabre - and it is. But the best thing about this film is that is has depth. It's not just your typical action/hero film. We get to find out how the Joker character came to be. Through a series of events we see the forces that shaped Arthur Fleck,( Joker played by Joaquin Phoenix) into the criminal that he became. Joaquin's performance is outstanding. On the one hand you can have empathy fro the character, but at the same time you realize that he has become evil incarnate, and he must be stopped.
It's a worthwhile movie to watch!

Great DC Character

This is one of the better DC comic Adaptions to the big screen! It has it all - action, humor, and great characterization. Gal Gadot/ Diana does an amazing job of playing Wonder Woman.
We see the origin of WW starting as a kid. As she comes into adulthood we see her make fantastic strides to becoming a warrior in the traditions of the Amazon. An American pilot/ spy accidentally crashes his plane into the ocean just off the coast of Diana's island/country. The pilot is played by Chris Pine. This chance encounter is the beginning of an adventure culminating in a fantastic battle of the defeat of evil.
I'm sure that most of you have seen this film, and I hope you enjoyed it. For those of you who haven't, give it a go, it's worth it!

I saw this movie way back in 1977. It was an instant Spielberg classic. A simple everyday man has a close encounter with a UFO, and that begins an adventure that leads to an amazing finale. There are fine performances by Richard Dreyfuss, Melinda Dillon, Teri Garr, Francois Truffaut ( the great French director), and a cameo appearance by Dr. J. Allen Hynek who was part of the original Project Blue Book.
The film was filmed, not recorded, and has some of the best VFX ever seen. Remember that there was no CGI at that time.

The first Maleficent was a retelling of Sleeping Beauty. It explained why Maleficent was the way she was - about deception and betrayal. The sequel takes it a bit further and even tells of the origins of Maleficent and her people. The Fey. You find that she really isn't evil at all.
The film brings back Elle Fanning as Aurora and Sam Riley as Diaval. Plus, we have Michelle Pfieffer, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Ed Skrein, and others.
You should get this film!
