I enjoyed this movie. This is a great thriller that is full of suspense. I enjoyed watching Dennis Quaid play the bad guy. He did an excellent job. Meagan Good and Michael Ealy also had great chemistry. Now that the fall season is rolling around, this movie will definitely be on my list of scary/suspenseful movies to watch on my weekends off.

I just got the movie today from all of the trailers that I've seen online I can tell it is going to be action-packed thought-provoking non-stop Thriller definitely worth the time to watch break out the popcorn you're going to need it it's that good I give it five out of five stars

This new Hellboy reboot movie has a lot of negative reviews, but I enjoyed myself.
There's a lot of humor and action scenes in this. Gorehounds will be pleased to know that the R-rating is well deserved. They really run with the supernatural/fantasy elements and there's some pretty memorable visual moments.

If you've never seen this but are going to watch it because of the King book, understand that this is 98% different than the book. A basic, very very very loose premise is similar as well as the name of the movie, and the name's of the main character and villain. That is it for similarities. Everything else in this movie is 100% different than the book.

This is good, but in a bad way. It's pretty much a generic slasher gore fest, but its setting is quite beautiful and isolating--and the leading lady is interesting. It starts off fairly awful, the first 10-15 minutes are very cringe and tiring, but the movie rapidly gets better as it goes on. If I were rating it on the first half, it'd be a 5/10 but the second half would be a 7/10. If you liked Hostel or if you like slashers, you'll likely enjoy this. If you like smarter, sophisticated horror you will hate this.

I want a refund. This movie sucked so incredibly bad that words fail me to even begin to describe just how terrible this movie truly was...it looked as it they shot it in one day (maybe even before lunch)..acting was terrible..directing non-existent...plot beyond ridiculous..etc., etc. Absolutely the sorriest movie I've suffered through in years, literally.

Good Cage movie in awhile

d give Nicolas Cage five stars for this one. Best job on a believable character in a long time. Other actors did a pretty good job too.
Story was well paced action with a couple of original aspects (wild animals loose on a ship made a little more sense than snakes on a plane) but was a bit of a stretch logic-wise (like why would the bad guy release the animals when the odds were already against him). With the odds stacked against him, the bad guy still managed to take out all of the trained agents. Finally, the white jaguar was really poor CGI. Should have hired someone off the Lion King.
Bottom line - I enjoyed it even with a few little flaws

Classic Anime!!

Akira is ALWAYS a good view. Saw it back n the 80s in Japanese and loved it. Saw it in the early 90s with the first English dub. Loved it. Saw it in the late 90s with the second English dub. Loved it. The art style is, by today's standards, very analogue. Hand draw cells. No CG. Large Bright colors throughout. Lots of violence. Some excellent voice acting and amazing scripting for its day. While today, thought provoking scripting is kinda the norm for anime, back then, most of it was He-Man styled fluff. THIS IS NOT HE-MAN STYLE FLUFF. It is very deep. It is thought provoking. It is simply amazing!
