The original Dragon's Dogma is a cult classic that captured the feeling of being in a D&D adventure, and the long-awaited sequel greatly expands on the systems set in place by its predecessor. From the much larger world, full of caves and hidden paths to discover. To the extremely satisfying combat that allows players to change their class with ease and discover what works for them as they build a character in one of the most robust character creators seen in gaming. Magic and swords, bows and knives, there's almost no limit to the combat options presented in the game. The story does feel like a retread of themes from the original, but with a tighter narrative than the original Dragon's Dogma more aimless plot.

Persona 3 was a turning point for the then fledgling spinoffs of the SMT series, introducing a plethora of game mechanics that have become staples all the way up to most recent entry, Persona 5. Now, the 2006 PS2 classic has been rebuilt from the ground up showing off a fresh flair and style for the current generation of consoles. Along with a plethora of quality of life changes, some picked from P3's many enhanced ports as well as changes made to the gameplay for the later installments of the franchise, Reload offers an experience that will be both familiar and new to any veterans of the franchise. For anybody cut their teeth on Persona 5 or its Royal updated port, do be warned that the dungeon crawling experience of Tartarus is a wildly different beast from the slow descent into the depths of Mementos. Likewise, players will find their after school activities not having nearly as many restrictions compared to Persona 5. Combat is fun and engaging and requires a good bit of strategy, and there are a myriad of ways to improve your party and acquire skills to make encounters go by faster.

The peripheral is fairly lightweight, meaning no extensive strain on the head and neck, and the controllers have good straps that ensure no wrong movements accidentally send your controllers hurtling into TVs, family, or pets. The space required for the VR can be a little demanding, but as long as you have enough to avoid bumping into your console or TV, it's very accommodating and easy to set up.
Hopefully the library of compatible games will continue to grow, and it would be great to see titles for the original VR system get updates to be compatible.

Cing was a company known for some oddly unique games, from Hotel Dusk, a game where you held your Nintendo DS like a book as you explored a cheap hotel as a former NYPD looking for clues about a long-lost friend; to Trace Memory, a mystery-thriller about a young girl searching for her long lost father. Remade from the ground up for the Switch along with its previously Japan/Europe only released sequel, the Another Code recollection brings a pair of cult classics to modern hardware.
While far from the most graphically impressive games, the unique artstyle and deep narrative are more than enough to draw in anybody who loves a good mystery adventure full of drama and the pursuit of buried truths.
Both titles are fairly short, but well worth the price of admission.

While not quite as good as Heroes Rising, World Heroes Mission is still a blast if you're a fan of the My Hero Academia series. Deku and friends are tasked with helping stop a doomsday cult hellbent on destroying all Quirk-users with bioweapons, only for Deku to become embroiled in a conspiracy that sees him become an international criminal. Tagging alongside Deku is a young man who may know more than he's letting on, both now on the run to find safety and uncover the intents of their pursuers.

alright so lets say I have this on digital because its a ps+ exclusive game, if I bought the disk version so I wouldn't have to pay $14.99/month, would I have my data saved? or would the disk just make a new game?
Yes, you would still keep your saves. The subscription to Plus ending would mean no longer having the perks of the cloud backup. The only time it wouldn't work is if you were playing the vanilla version of a game on PS+, but swapped to the physical release of the GOTY edition, though in some cases it may still work.
