What a fascinating and interesting movie for a first time director. This guy has got some skills. The movie is very involving. You really feel for the main character and what he is going through. Love the look of the movie. You can't help but feel like you're living in it. Looking forward to seeing more movies from this director.

Heartbreaking season!

This season was hard to watch. Especially with so many likeable characters being killed off at the same time in such brutal fashion. I felt violated. I mean this the world of the Walking Dead and things like this happen, but this was so sudden and vicious that it didn't make it easier. Still, it is an addictive show and I will always tune in.

An old cult classic.

When I was a kid I kept hearing about this movie that was hard to find, until I was old enough to rent it on VHS. I thought the movie was hardcore and still enjoy it today. I mean what can I say, this old cult classic speaks for itself. A good looking movie that was made on a low budget. This new transfer is the best I have ever seen including the sound. This one was absolutely worth it.

Best submarine movie!

One of my favorite movies of all time. I never get tired of watching it. It is just so well made. A cinematic masterpiece. An incredible cast and excellent story telling. They just don't make them like this anymore. The feeling of suspense and excitement all perfectly balanced. When I first saw this movie in the theaters I left with a upbeat feeling, and I knew I had to see it again. The camaraderie between the characters on both sides, the relative dialogue was so enjoyable. I was giddy.
The transfer. I have been waiting for a long time for a proper treatment for this film, and a 4k version has finally been released. It's slightly on the dark side but the details are there to be admired. The 4k looks more filmic than the 1080 in my opinion. Definitely an improvement. The sound is where it shines. I noticed it right off the bat. The low frequency sounds, especially during the submarine sequences, the engine noises, all stand out. Also, surrounds are detailed and distinct even for a older movie like this. I was satisfied with this buy. Look into it folks, I think you'll like it.

I grew up watching the Rambo films. Whenever one would come every so often, it would be like welcoming an old friend. This one is a bit different than the others, more personal and dramatized, not the best of the bunch but still satisfies, especially the last thirty minutes. It is brutal and graphic. Even as an old man Rambo is still a vicious warrior. The man can get it done. It's sad to see it come to a conclusion, but all good things eventually come to a end. I think it's a good movie. Check it out.

A worthy sequel to a classic film. I wasn't sure what to expect going into this, but was pleasantly surprised with it. Very likeable characters and villains you really hate. I mean I was really rooting for the good guys in this film. It's been a while since I've seen a villain so despicable that I was clenching my fists. A bunch of child killing degenerates that needed to be put down. Very satisfying.
The movie starts off really slow but gets better and more interesting as it delves deeper into this psychological warfare between the two groups. Doctor Sleep is it's own thing but at the same time is very respectful to the Shining. It is a worthy addition to a great film.

I started really getting into the "Fallen" movies after repeat viewings. They started to grow on me. They're fun to watch, but what always brings me back are the actors Gerard Butler and Morgan Freeman. The way they play off each other, the chemistry between them are worth watching. Really good action scenes too. The siege on the hospital and the gunfights are excellent. Good show.

Whoa! what a show an mini-series. I have always wondered about what really happened in this tragic incident. The details were always hazy in news reports. I think I caught a Documentary some years ago, but was unaware of the drama that had played out and what almost could have happened had the rest of the world not found out about it in time. The series is very revealing. This is frightening stuff. I mean truly scary. It made me feel helpless and angry watching it. What a way to live, always in fear.
The look and feel of this mini-series is what drew me in. So foreboding and dangerous. An incredible effort went in creating this atmosphere. The whole time I'm watching this I can literally feel the danger and the poison in the air. Folks this is a must get. Just for the experience alone. Highly recommended.

What a viewing experience this movie is. The way it introduces new characters, the meaningful storyline. All put together so well and expertly told. I feel that this is when Marvel was at it's best. When you came out of the theater feeling good about what you saw and couldn't wait to see what was next. This one is definitely up the in the top three.
The 4K presentation is good to go. The image is slightly sharper and tighter, and the audio is not bad too.

What training goes with this? Will your Apple Technician help set up this computer?
When I purchased my original MacBook Pro 11 years ago I had absolutely no experience with computers. The Apple technicians at the Apple store that I purchased my computer from gave me a series tutorials on the basics of keystrokes and functions. Depending on what you want to do with your new computer. The tutorials can be very in-depth or just a familiarization or both. When I bought my new current computer at Best Buy I asked a few questions just to get started but for the most part, I just carried over what I already new from my original computer. However. It is very likely that I will be asking or signing up for more tutorials to get a better understanding of this very new and upgraded computer.
