The BEST service I have ever bought. The quickly work to try and solve my problem with my LG, sadly the company sent didn’t really work with LG well and couldn’t fix it. They quickly reimburse me, no questions ask, no hassle, no paper filling, just quickly gave me store credit of what I paid once it was deem it couldn’t be fix.
They were always friendly and work quickly to set up the dates for fixing and try everything they could. HIGHLY recommend them for any of your equipment.

Keep away from LG brand in term of refrigerators. I had this and in two years it died (compressor). Even with geek squad (amazing service so not putting them down on) the technician they found could’t fix it all.

Amazing unit, very compact outside but spacious on the outside. The water dispenser on the inside keeps it looking slick in the outside. The ice maker is also discreet but highly functional. Is super silent barely making a hum when running.
Even though I love the water dispenser inside, I can see it been a con to some giving you need to open it to get water and in a busy family that often gets water this mean the door will be constantly open and closing just to get water from it.

Will this product work on a gaming laptop? I have an Acer nitro.
I am assuming you mean for running games directly from it on your gaming laptop? It will allow you and is pretty fast (that is how I use it). Is USB 3 (either via usb C or using the included USB-c to USB-A cable). Read speed and write speed is pretty fast (way faster than a regular HDD). The benefit of it is that is external.
One thing I do notice is that it seems to disconnect sometimes (mostly when downloading things, it hasn't when playing a game though). If you are able and willing to open your laptop I recommend either updating the NVMe (if it has one, if it doesn't then install one (this is the fastest style of SDD you can get right now)) or an internal SATA drive.

Is this a good for storing data for over 5+ yrs? I don't plan to use it often, just wanna back up data once every 6 months and forget it. Also, can we disable encryption to minimize data loss risk, in case something fails or forget pswd.
If you are just storing data and using it every 6 months or so without planning to be using it constantly I would recommend a normal HDD in all honesty. You can get a 4TB one for the cost of this one that serves the same purpose. A SSD is only REALLY good if you will be constantly using it (video editing, playing games from it, moving files from) cause of it's speed advantage and not so much for long term storage in all honesty.
