If you looking for a good portable SSD this is amazing. The speed is even slightly faster than sata connection and it included booth USB-c to USB-C and USB-c to USB-A just in case.
I am not giving it 5 starts cause you have to configure windows a bit if you don't want it disconnecting every 6 to 8 minutes (Which is annoying if you are downloading something). Once I change the settings it had work great unless you make it do much work (such as downloading a game and playing a game from it too, it seems to disconnect during that).

Installing the Radio was quite simple thanks to the included cables. The radio options are great and it allowing for skipping, pausing and other option from the radio when connected via bluetooth is really helpful. The included microphone makes talking simpler and hassle free.

I am assuming you mean for running games directly from it on your gaming laptop? It will allow you and is pretty fast (that is how I use it). Is USB 3 (either via usb C or using the included USB-c to USB-A cable). Read speed and write speed is pretty fast (way faster than a regular HDD). The benefit of it is that is external.
One thing I do notice is that it seems to disconnect sometimes (mostly when downloading things, it hasn't when playing a game though). If you are able and willing to open your laptop I recommend either updating the NVMe (if it has one, if it doesn't then install one (this is the fastest style of SDD you can get right now)) or an internal SATA drive.

Is this a good for storing data for over 5+ yrs? I don't plan to use it often, just wanna back up data once every 6 months and forget it. Also, can we disable encryption to minimize data loss risk, in case something fails or forget pswd.
If you are just storing data and using it every 6 months or so without planning to be using it constantly I would recommend a normal HDD in all honesty. You can get a 4TB one for the cost of this one that serves the same purpose. A SSD is only REALLY good if you will be constantly using it (video editing, playing games from it, moving files from) cause of it's speed advantage and not so much for long term storage in all honesty.
