Good long lasting mouse

I wish the mouse would be a bit bigger as it can get a bit cramp to use after awhile. The good thing is that with just one battery the mouse last a REALLY long time and the wireless never gives any problem or feel laggy.

Will this product work on a gaming laptop? I have an Acer nitro.
I am assuming you mean for running games directly from it on your gaming laptop? It will allow you and is pretty fast (that is how I use it). Is USB 3 (either via usb C or using the included USB-c to USB-A cable). Read speed and write speed is pretty fast (way faster than a regular HDD). The benefit of it is that is external.
One thing I do notice is that it seems to disconnect sometimes (mostly when downloading things, it hasn't when playing a game though). If you are able and willing to open your laptop I recommend either updating the NVMe (if it has one, if it doesn't then install one (this is the fastest style of SDD you can get right now)) or an internal SATA drive.

Is this a good for storing data for over 5+ yrs? I don't plan to use it often, just wanna back up data once every 6 months and forget it. Also, can we disable encryption to minimize data loss risk, in case something fails or forget pswd.
If you are just storing data and using it every 6 months or so without planning to be using it constantly I would recommend a normal HDD in all honesty. You can get a 4TB one for the cost of this one that serves the same purpose. A SSD is only REALLY good if you will be constantly using it (video editing, playing games from it, moving files from) cause of it's speed advantage and not so much for long term storage in all honesty.
