Not an Apple Fan

I'm going to say that I'm not an apple fan. I haven't had an iPhone since iPhone 3 and I actually really like the iPad. I bought this to replace my girlfriend's that I may or may not have dropped in the bathroom but I actually use this more than she does. I like playing sedentary games on the iPad and using it as a reading device. I definitely don't use it to it's capacity but what I do use it for it is excellent. Whether it's for browsing YouTube, reading from the Kindle app, or playing games, I can't deny that it's much better than using a phone. I also can say that the screen resolution is excellent but I do wish I could dim the brightness a little bit more so it's not too bright in dark rooms. It's snappy, built with premium products, and syncs well with my girlfriend's Macbook Air and iPhone.
Lastly, the sound quality is surprisingly good for a device this small. I can say that I'm happy I bought her a replacement last Black Friday because I use it more than she does!

Still prefer hard copies over digital

Even though everything can be bought early on digital, which I do frequently, I still prefer hard copies of media because the picture and sound quality is still better. With hard copies you don't lose any of the quality due to internet speeds, file compression, or any other things that streaming does to minimize file size.
Also, big Harry Potter fan and while these movies aren't as good, they are still great ways to get into the Harry Potter extended universe.

Buy Your Own instead of Renting

I made the wise decision to buy my own modem and router because the speed and the router coverage I got from my rented Xfinity X1 box was horrible. I have one TV on wifi about 30 feet away and I had terrible connection, terrible speeds, and just a bad experience overall. I turned in my X1 box, plugged in this modem, hooked up an Asus Gigabit router and never looked back. My network speeds jumped, I never have connection issues, and it worked seamlessly with Xfinity and when I changed ISPs to RCN. I also upgraded my speed to a gigabit connection and I get upwards of 700mhz regularly.
It's a larger one time expense but will save you money in the long run and lower your cable bill. Stop giving ISPs and Cable providers free money BUY YOUR OWN.
Lastly, the setup is super easy and the first time you connect you get step by step instructions. It's basically plug and play but you can tweak things if you're a little more experienced.

I've had better sounding buds from Sony, Bose, and Jabra for around the same price or less but I'm not looking for heavy bass in my headphones. If you're into podcasts, talk radio, or music that isn't as bass heavy then I would say to look for a different pair from either of the brands above.

Air Bubbles and Dust Specs!

I only get these once every 2-3 years so I always screw up putting them on. The shield comes with a small plastic guide that works well but for some reason, I always get air bubbles or the tiniest spec of lint/dust when I finally go to stick the shield on. No matter how many times I clean it, I never get it to work. My issues are definitely user error but overall nothing else has creeped in between the shield and screen and this phone has been dropped several times with no issue so overall I would recommend this product but be better than me when applying or you will see that same dust speck every day until you get a new phone or a new shield.

Great sound quality but can be uncomfortable

I use these for my PS4 and when I play PS exclusive titles like Uncharted 4, GoW, Horizon Zero Dawn, etc, the programmed profiles you can download from the PS4 give you an entirely new level of immersion. I've used wireless headsets before but this is my first 7.1 headset and the difference is night and day. The easy controls on the side make it easy to toggle your mic on and off, adjust volume, and change audio profiles.
My only gripe with these headphones is that they can be uncomfortable if not worn perfectly. I find myself adjusting the head strap on occasion because it feels too tight on my noggin and causes discomfort. After a few adjustments to loosen the strap, I'm good to go but if I move around or lay my head back, they adjust on my head and I find myself tightening them again. However, this is a very minor inconvenience and is probably due to me not putting them on and adjusting them to start but the sound quality more than makes up for it.

I love these wireless earbuds. I wear them in the office, at the gym, in my car, everywhere. The sound quality for calls and music is great and the easy to use app for adjusting the outside noise throughput is incredibly easy and let's you manually adjust or select from a few different existing sound profiles.
My only complaint about these buds is that after wearing them for 5-6 hours, my ears do get a little sore/tender. I haven't tried adjusting to the other size silicone ear pieces but I'm pretty sure I have the correct size. However, for the sound quality and battery life I get from these buds, a little soreness at the end of the day is well worth it.
I paid full price for these and I would do it again or get the active version since I do run in these and having the added sweat resistance for piece of mind wouldn't hurt.

Quick and Easy Deal of the Day

I grabbed this 128GB micro SDXC to pop into my Nintendo Switch after my 32GB card filled up rather quickly after buying a few games once quarantine became official. Grabbing this card on a Deal of the Day was such a good move. I was able to pick up two more games (Yay Animal Crossing!) and have plenty of room to spare for future purchases. I've always had excellent luck with SanDisk micro SDXC's for my phones, cameras, and other devices so if you see these on sale, grab one! They are worth their normal price but they pop up as a Deal of the Day quite frequently so be patient and grab it on sale.

This product caused so many problems from bios flash to numerous post error code. 02, 0D to mention along with many More codes. Money down the drain. Unfortunately, I through the box away so I can’t return it!!! Don’t waste your money Gigabyte Aorus is better.

02 Error Code and Sub Par Service from ASUS

I had the same 02 post code error and went through all of the trouble shooting options I could think of and found online. Ultimately called ASUS for additional help and the representative seemed like he couldn't be bothered. He gave me one option to troubleshoot and after giving me that, asked if I needed anything else and didn't offer to stay on the phone to see if it worked or provide additional troubleshooting options. I had to tell him to stay on the phone while I completed his instruction which ultimately didn't work and he proceeded to say it sounds like the board is defective and I should go back to the retailer. As anyone looking for motherboards right now knows, they have been sold out everywhere and he didn't offer any sort of expedited service or tell me how long an RMA process through ASUS would take or offer me any upgrade or any other option and put it on the retailer. I was in a Customer Service role for 5 years and if I provided this level (lack) of customer service or options to the consumer, I would have been torn apart by my boss. Totally unacceptable.
I'm very reasonable and understand that the RMA process might take longer than expected right now with the pandemic but not offering any sort of resolution, time frame, or transparency into not having a time frame due to the pandemic or low supply would have been much better than the service I received.
I ended up calling Best Buy customer support who were helpful but couldn't provide me any information as to when they expect more inventory in this particular motherboard. They told me to watch the product on the site to see when it comes back in stock and call them when it does (which I said I will not do and they should contact me when it comes back in stock), so I'm sitting and waiting to see what happens next.
Overall I'm disappointed in the product but I understand things happen but the customer service from ASUS was terrible and the customer service from Best Buy was mediocre. Normally, I always have great things to say regarding Best Buy's customer support but the experience from this past week was not best in class but also wasn't as poor as ASUS.
