The steel book art isn’t great, but otherwise the movie is great. The picture and sound is typical of Disney products, it’s good but not reference quality.
This has IMO the best performance of a Marvel villain yet. The comedy in the film is fine other than it crowds out the serious story they are trying to tell. It lightens the gravitas of the character’s plight.

This dense little speaker packs in some pretty good sound. I bought it for use out at my hot tub but I’ve been quite impressed with the quality of sound as well as the volume this speaker can produce so I’ll be using it for my gatherings in the back yard as well. The light show is gimmicky but it can be utilized with a variety of ways and can even be turned off all together. I feel the quality of the sound is worth the price of this speaker so the light show is just an added bonus for me. I don’t at all feel like I’m paying for something I won’t use, even if I don’t use it. I have a Marantz home theater with Klipsch speakers and sub as well as two pairs of Apple HomePods and 8 HomePod minis as well as Yamaha HS8 monitors in my recording studio so good sound is a requirement in my world. This Sony speaker is a welcome addition to my sound arsenal.

No choice between multiple aspect ratios

Awkwafina steals every scene she’s in. This movie is a little brighter and more colorful than the later Marvel movies have been and looks pretty good here despite only getting HDR10. The action is great and the pacing is good. The picture here is presented in 2.39:1 where Disney+ shows both this and IMAX ratio it would have been nice to choose on the disc as well. The mix is Atmos, and while I enjoyed the mix but wasn’t blown away. It could have used more punch in the subs/low end so I wouldn’t say it’s a demo worthy movie if you are trying to impress enthusiasts but still fun to watch again and again. The digital copy was 4K Dolby Vision/Atmos.

The movie is awesome, but I’m probably not telling you anything you don’t know or haven’t heard. As far as the presentation on the disc though; It looks amazing, and the sound is on point. I have a 7.1.2 Atmos and I got plenty of overheads firing through the movie, and the sub gets a decent workout. The only complaint I have is that the digital code redeems in HD and not 4K. You still get an Atmos track but the picture is HD.

My new go-to disc to demo my home theater

This movie is simply brilliant. Every actor gives great performances and the direction is superb. The cinematography is stunning and the special effect being a mix of practical and digital really work well to immerse us into this world. For me though, the best part of owning this disc is the sound. The Atmos mix is top notch, completely immersive, thunderous while still remaining delicate and nuanced and dynamic, and the soundtrack is on another level and wholly fits within the context of the film. The one thing I will ding this movie for, and it was an issue in the excellent Dolby Theater I saw it in originally and also plagues this disc is that some of the dialogue, especially Lady Jessica, is mixed to low in the mix. They are whispered lines that have a ton of purpose. They are not throwaway lines and really must be heard, but it is difficult to make them out in parts. I truly think this is going to be my go-to disc to show of my home theater for a long time to come.

Minor issues barley mar an excellent game

Great game. It’s a little difficult but a fun and beautiful open world to explore. Very dark and menacing character design and story. The frame rate issues are there but IMHO not game breaking and on PS5 where I’m playing it VRR should alleviate concerns when that becomes available. My biggest grip is that because I bought the PS4 version and am playing on PS5, every time I start the game or if I leave the disk in, the PS4 version is loaded onto my hard drive. I am lucky that I have an external drive where I allocate all my PS4 games to run from, but I will never play the PS4 version of this game nor will I play it from the external hard drive if I did. I have my PS4 Pro still in my lounge area and I bought this version because I could play it there if I want and I got a free upgrade. The implementation of this upgrade has been done poorly, but I do think this is a PS5 problem, not a From Software issue. So I do think this game is great however, if you have an issue getting killed in the game often, this might not be for you.

I love this game. I preordered it and have fallen in love with it ever since. Just when I think I can’t love it more, we get an update that makes me love it more. The newest update allows the better resolution to run at 40 FPS on a 120hz HDMI 2.1 TV. I know not everyone has the latest and greatest TV but I can’t express how much of a Next Gen experience this game is.

almost a home run product

I mostly love this mount. It works well and feels good when the magnets “snap” into place. I haven’t had my phone fall off the mount, which I was worried about with just a magnet holding it in place but it’s strong enough so far. My only issue is that I feel like the mount should have a plug in the bottom of it so the mag safe mount could also be a mag safe charger. I would happily have paid more money for that feature, but Belkin seemed to want to pass on that for now. I’ve seen some reviews saying the grip slipped off their vents but I’ve not experienced this at all, mine seems to have a very secure grip. I would definitely recommend this product with the caveat that it is JUST A MOUNT, no charging. There is a channel to hold your charging cord at least.
