Keeping me toasty on cold nights

Our older JVC unit lacks an HDMI plug in and wouldn't work with our more recent Samsung TV. Thought of getting an adapter but honestly this unit was less expensive. We already had an HDMI cable, which this does not come with, and it just worked without a hiccup. It also has most of the features of more expensive units without major trade offs. So far so good. We don't watch DVDs all that often but this should work well when we do.

Best laptop or computer I've had

OK, so my first computer was an Apple IIc back in the 80's, and every 5 years or so I would get another. That is a lot of Apples and PCs over the years. I bought this for the light weight, features and general integration. It is a beautiful device to look at, which I think is an often undervalued aspect of computers. It also performs flawlessly. Love the touchscreen, facial recognition, slots for memory cards (I take a lot of photos) and overall speed. I wish I had gotten a larger hard drive, but an external one works fine. Two years and no problems. If they still make these when mine reaches the end of its cycle, I might get another.
