Only Buy When On Good Sale

I only grabbed this 4K movie when I went into BB one night looking for a new 4K movie to buy but was only looking at what was on sale for $20 or less. I went with Rampage simply because I didn't see any other movie I was interested in that was on sale. The movie has decent special effects, but the dialog in the script was written fairly poorly. Some script lines made me think I was watching the Star Wars prequels. The Dolby Vision was decent as was the Dolby Atmos. Nothing special to write home about.

You Haven't Seen Infinity War Yet?

Infinity War will likely be one of my all-time favorite movies, and will be in my favorites vault for sure. What more could you ask for in a Marvel movie? There's modest bump in image quality and colors stand out a little more with the HDR10. Dolby Atmos is OK, nothing to write home about with uppers, but there's modest bass. It sounds good, and it seems Disney has finally raised the audio levels because it was louder than previous Marvel movies.

The UHD 4K disc is definitely better than my old bluray copy. There's modest bump in image quality and colors stand out a little more with the HDR10. You also get the larger screen format, so it looks great filling up your entire TV screen. Probably the best pickup is the Dolby Atmos track. It sounds good, and it seems Disney has finally raised the audio levels because it was louder than previous Marvel movies.

Expensive But Good

I had been shopping these and the Sony's for couple of months, and after watching reviews and trying them on in the store...I chose to go with the Bose. Most reviews typically say the Sony's sound better, but that the Bose are more comfortable and have the better noise-cancelling. I find them very comfortable and agree they are more comfortable than the Sony's. I really haven't used the Google Assistant yet. I plan to get a real good test in a couple of months when I plan to take a plane trip. I used to have a pair of custom molded in-ear musician earphones that cost about $800, and those were the bomb. However, I lost them somewhere last year, or they were stolen and couldn't compel myself to spend that amount of money again.

Still a fun movie to watch from the 80s. It looks surprisingly good on bluray for how old the film is. Also got it on sale for a few bucks too. After watching the bluray, I had to go order me a Wing Kong tshirt!
