I use an OPPO 203 with a Sony A8F tv and the 4K release is extraordinarily better than the regular Blu-ray release. Even the extra “noise” that Spielberg added the picture is phenomenal. One of the best 4K upgrades I have acquired for my collection.

I was hesitant in watching this because usually the remakes are very different from the ore however I am happy that I gave it a try. Yes there are some differences but they are very subtle & there are also some added things that were not in the classic version however the added parts for very nicely & I enjoyed it. If you live the classic beauty and the beast then this new version is a must see!

Exceeding my expectations

This movie was so gripping. I was tense and on the edge of my seat the entire time. The use of sound was really interesting, and this movie had an effect on the entire audience. Everyone was doing their best to remain completely silent during the film. People were even unlikely to eat their food, so as to avoid disturbing the silence. That effect alone was enough to make this movie worth it. Add in the excellent acting performances and you've got yourself a great movie.

I have been an aviation historian for over three decades, and this film did an amazing job capturing the events leading up to and including the battle of Midway. Aside from a few nitpicks with things that most people will never notice (aircraft insignia incorrect for certain time periods, etc.) this was a highly accurate depiction of one of the most important battles in U.S. history. WATCH THIS!

Great addition to the MCU family

Once again, i was totally amazed at how well they pulled off Ant-Man. he was the only person from the MCU, which i was a little uncertain as to how Marvel was going to bring him into the story Arch. how they pulled it off totally surprised me, and it worked really well with the existing plot line of the arch of the MCU. personally, i like the movie version MUCH better than the comic book version of Ant-Man, as in the comics, he was really unstable (Crazy), and i really like the new direction they have taken him. it was brilliant how they filmed this movie in the theme of a bank hist. they could have really done a dis-service to this movie by going strictly by the comic book, and they would have killed the movie. very bold move on the part of marvel to remake the origin story. i think it works alot more cohesively now. i cant wait for the next Ant-Man. P.S. LOVED him in captain america civil war! he stole the show along with Spider Man!

As the countdown to "Avengers: Endgame" runs down, it's worth a look back at "Captain America: Civil War", which set the stage for the last two Avengers movies. The Avengers, the world's greatest heroes, have vanquished every foe, until now. A series of unfortunate events leads to a house divided, and a house divided cannot stand. The Avengers will pick sides, and the consequences will be catastrophic for the team. Above all, Captain America will find out who his friends really are...
"Civil War" is a well-crafted action movie. Chris Evans is outstanding as Steve Rodgers/Captain America, even if our hero has to compete with Robert Downey Jr/Tony Starks/Ironman for screen time in his own movie. There's lots of storyline to unravel, excellent CGI effects, and plenty of character development for a huge supporting cast. Well recommended to fans of the MCU.

Captain America Winter Soldier was just an amazing film: great action packed thriller. It's undoubtedly one of the best films within the Marvel Universe along with Iron Man, but the amazing thing about Winter Soldier is that even if it wasn't a superhero movie, it will still be a really amazing movie, and one of the best action-spy-thrillers of all time. The amazing thing about Captain America is that all its films besides the Winter Soldier are amazing in their own right; the same cannot be said with all of the other superhero movies within the Marvel Universe. The story was interesting (brings you closer), and though it's called the "Winter Soldier", that character didn't really get much of a screen time. Unlike most of the other films within the Marvel Universe, Winter Soldier is one of those films you would see AGAIN & AGAIN!!! it was entertaining. The movie looked serious too.
