As far as disaster movies go, this one was better than some and just not quite as entertaining as some others. The acting was okay and the premise of the movie was somewhat believable. With that having been said, I think that as we continue to put Covid-19 behind us, the movies and TV shows should start to get a little better.
Normally, these new releases drop down to a more 'realistic' 19.99 the closer they get to Release Day, however, this one did not.
Since this Blu-ray came with a digital copy and a DVD, it was worth the extra 3.00 that I paid for it (22.99), because it provided entertainment for three different families.

We purchased this matching 7.5 cu. ft. 9-cycle electric dryer to go with our Samsung washer. Once again, as with the washer, Samsung has proved itself to be one of, if not the best, appliance manufacturer, to go along with the title of making the best TV's on the market. This gem has more than enough settings for the average person to choose from and it is quiet as well. If there is one 'fault' that this dryer has, it is the little tune that plays when it is done. Other than that, we have not had one problem with it since we bought it. I will have to say that Samsung appliances are 'Head and Shoulders' better than Maytag.

I saw this movie on sale at Best Buy and since it covers one of my favorite movie genres, Sci-Fi and aliens, it was a must purchase for our Blu-Ray collection. It most certainly won't be mistaken for one of the alien blockbuster movies, but it will keep you entertained for the entire one hour and forty minutes. Of course, the little twist at the end will leave you wanting just a little more!

Do more laundry in less time. This spacious Samsung washer takes fewer loads to get all your laundry done. Plus, you can use it anytime, because everyone will sleep right through the reduced noise and vibration levels.

It uses much less water, uses less liquid detergent, and it is QUIET, compared to our older Maytag. Who knew that Samsung not only makes the best TV's on the market, they make the best washers too!

1980's thriller, featuring both a much younger Richard Gere (one of my wife's favorites) and a much younger Kim Bassinger (one of my favorites). This movie takes the viewer on an interesting journey through the seedy, bayou, underground. It will most definitely keep your interest, if for no other reason, by the actors themselves.

We had to wait a very long time for this upright freezer to become available to purchase on the Best Buy website. All to do with the coronavirus pandemic affecting the availability of being in stock. My wife wanted to replace our chest-type freezer, also bought at Best Buy, simply because it was too difficult to find items towards the bottom of the freezer. We only needed a small freezer, since there are only two of us at home now, and this little gem is exactly what we were looking for. Now, when the wife goes to find something in the freezer, its right in front of her! To be honest, I've tried everything to actually download the HBO Max app on my Samsung TV and on my Sony Blu-Ray player, all to no avail. It just isn't there. I have been able to download the app to my phone, but who wants to watch a movie on their phone? Certainly, not me. HBO needs to allow this app to be able to be downloaded much easier on different types of media. We have and will continue to watch HBO, which we pay extra for on our DirecTV package, but as for HBO Max, they can keep that.
