If you value the health of your hands, get this controller. The tiny JoyCons are fine if you are using the console in portable mode, but this is very comfortable for gaming sessions on the TV.
Nintendo controllers have great battery life and are well made. Worth the asking price, they will last you the life of the console.

The Evil Within 1 turned a lot of people off with terrible black borders and false letterbox. But after it was patched, it turned out to be an amazing game.
The Evil Within 2 takes more of an open world approach, with tighter gameplay, a less convoluted story, and the same exciting gameplay.
Not scary but tense, really cool series and I look forward to the next one.

I own fifteen billion copies of Terminator 2. I have at least four different DVD releases, two blu-ray releases and now the 4k Ultra HD release.
Did this movie need a 4K release? Not really. The blu-ray versions looked great. Does this show off HDR and other fancy features on your TV? Eh... I've seen better. Does the audio sound good? I don't hear much difference between this and the blu-ray on my 7.1 Pioneer Elite system.
Anyway, if you're a fan, you'll get this and continue to purchase new versions when they come out as I do. T2 is a true classic for 80s kids and it's one of my favorite movies of all time.

I have enjoyed the other WarioWare games every since the GBA release 15 years ago. It's a fun little series of short burst games that has you aim for high scores and improving reflexes compared to deep stories or great graphics.
I anticipated this version greatly, but was let down. Maybe it's the "been there, done that" of virtually the same game, maybe it's the industry growing and more indie games coming out.
Fun for a few afternoons, not worth MSRP.

Only purchase Dark Souls: Remastered on the Switch if you use your console in portable mode. If you like to play with it docked, and also own a PS4 or Xbox One, purchase those versions instead as the graphics are significantly better on the other platforms.
That said, I move my switch around the house and play it in handheld mode, as it is easier to get gaming time in with a toddler. This version is slightly improved compared to the original on PS3, with all of the DLC and extra content.
Dark Souls is an amazing game. This one nailed the level design and open world feel. Everything flows naturally and as you grow your character, you really feel like your world grows as well.
The Switch version runs fine, nothing to write home about. It's really nice to be able to play this on the go, but putting the game into standby mode didn't always pause it for me.
If you want a challenge and play your Switch on the go, this is a must have. Lots of replayability with new game +. I sunk over 60 hours into my first run (well, second, as I played it on the PS3 too), and was going to play again if I didn't have new games to play from the holiday rush.

Amazing games in a cool package

I've played Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls on the PS3 and enjoyed both immensely. I held out getting Detroit: Become Human since it felt like the triple-A releases would knock the price down, and low and behold this bundle was announced for a great deal.
Detroit: Become Human is a modern masterpiece. The game takes the Quantic Dream formula and amps it up to 11. The choices are what makes these games great, and you get to see how your actions stacked up against your friends and the rest of the world.
The story is a little... cliche, but still very cool. The development of characters is better than Hollywood movies. The game suffers from clunky controls, as their other games do, but it doesn't take away from the overall game itself.
The graphics are stunning, gorgeous character models, backgrounds and effects help draw you into the story.
Worth playing for anyone looking for more story than game. Lots of replay value too with multiple paths and branching story lines.

I feel like a kid again

Ask just about any longtime RE fan what their favorite game in the series is and you'll probably get 50% "RE2" and 50% "RE4" since both games were the pinnacle of each style of gameplay in the series. Personally, I could not pick a favorite, but the original trilogy holds a special place in my heart as a gamer.
Fast forward to 2018, a full 20 years later, and we have this utterly perfect remaster to enjoy. Featuring the new RE Engine (also used in RE7), the RE2 remaster is in third person and totally blew me away. The game will be familiar to fans, as the story, characters and locations all remains faithful to the original, but -everything- else is upgraded.
Gameplay is fine tuned to perfection, modern but retaining the classic RE feel. Controls are spot on, graphics are intense, audio is ambient and the sound effects are amazing. The gameplay is fast paced, tight and warps me back to twenty years ago when I first got my hands on the Playstation version.
Anyone can enjoy this game, but if you were around for the original release, this will be that much more special to you. Perfect 10/10.

Picked up the XS about a week after launch, mainly due to peer pressure. I wanted to wait for the XR, but the fear of the low resolution screen made me fork over the big bucks for the XS.
I was loving the phone for all of four days until I got a notification claiming my Face ID was not working. I checked it out, and my front camera stopped working too.
I took it back and got an 8+. Sure, it's missing the solid stainless steel frame, gorgeous full screen display, and might not be quite as fast, but the home button works, and the 16:9 ratio is more comfortable for me to use.
If you purchase an XS I'd recommend the Apple Care package, spend a few hundred and you'll be covered if/when the phone fails.
