Brings in signals pretty clear, for the most part. As always, it always depends on a host of factors, but it does a very good job of reception.
I live on a third floor apartment that's roughly 35 miles from transmission towers, on the side facing away from those towers, so there's more matter standing in the way for the aignal to have to go through. I only seem to get digitized signal every now and then. Would recommend

Microsoft officially stopped doing this a couple of years ago as you know, but unofficially they're still supporting it. This article (dated June 2019) will show you how to do it.

My 570 graphics card requires an 8-pin power plug. I see the picture that looks like two 4 pins can be inserted together to create an 8. Is this correct?
This is correct. Any combination of power pins can be used for a GPU, as long as the GPU doesn't exceed what the supply can provide. That said, I would recommend having at least 100 watts more in a power supply than you actually need as it's always a good idea to have some headroom.
