This GE replaced a 12 year old one that suddenly quit working. It has all the features of the old one plus several more, including a 3rd rack for utensils, a sanitize wash setting and choices of using upper level, lower level or both levels washing which will save time and costs. The interior is stainless steel and not plastic. It does a pre-wash of the dishes and a grinder for any remaining food.
We have been impressed with this dishwasher so far and recommend it.
