I’ve always wanted to own my very own arcade racing set up, and with the Thrustmaster T248 I have finally fulfilled one of my childhood dreams, only to realized there is a lot more to it than just the wheel and pedals…
Inside the box contains the nice faux leather-wrapped steering wheel that comes attached to the base. Underneath that are the magnetic pedals which attaches to the floor base. The pedals look and feel amazing. They are made of a nice quality brushed metal, and the brakes have a spring installed to give resistance. It really feels like real pedals in a car. There is also an additional spring that can be swapped out for a different look and feel. There is also an attachment that hooks the steering wheel to the desks. Side note, if you’re looking to set this in your lap and play while sitting on the couch, this is not the steering wheel for that. This requires a flat desk to install it to.
The nice thing about the T248, is that its compatible with PC, PS4 and PS5. Setting it up with a PC requires a little more work than just plug and play. You will need to download the software and drivers from the website, in order play with it. Mounting the wheel to my desk wasn’t as fast as it could have been, that’s partly due to the instructions (or lack thereof). When I finally did get it mounted, that’s when I noticed there’s a lot more involved than just the racing wheel. The company offers many different add-ons that make the racing sim more enjoyable, but it doesn’t come cheap. You can purchase the shifter add-on and base, which costs about as much as the wheel itself…You can purchase the pedal bracket etc.
The biggest complaint that I have with the T248, is the lack of compatibility for racing games. As of now the list for compatible PC games is short. PS4 does have a much longer list of compatible games, but the PS5 has just a handful. I tried this out on an older game; Need for Speed Hot Pursuit – to see how it would play. While the game is not listed as compatible, it still does work. The key features of the T248 are the force feedback, the display, the magnetic paddle shifters to name a few. In order to take advantage of the display, your game must be compatible with it, otherwise the display will just show the letters PC. The force feedback works well, the motors inside the base are powerful and offer many different types of effects, which can be adjusted in the downloaded software. The paddle shifters are rather difficult to use, especially while having to turn the wheel. Unless you have the pedal stand or have an alternative – the pedals will slip away from your feet making it hard to play.
Overall, the Thrustmaster T248 is a good entry level racing wheel that provides some good features. Like the powerful force feedback, the magnetic pedals, the LCD display, good build quality, etc. But in order to get the full experience of a racing sim (the shifter, pedal stand, shifter clamp etc.), you’re going to have to be willing to spend a lot more money. Unfortunately, it has a small list of games that are compatible with it. While there are many games that work even know they’re not compatible, the features that makes this product what it is – don’t work. Therefore, it’s hard for me to recommend spending this much of an investment on something that has limited compatibilities. So, I would have to see a lot more compatible games before I would be able to recommend this.

The Sonic Fusion 2.0 is a great electric toothbrush and waterpik combo.

The main unit has the water tank and a detachable Water hose that connects to the toothbrush to turn it into a waterpik. The side of the unit has a dial that is labeled 1-10, this the the intensity of the water pressure that comes out of the waterpik. The water hose doesn't have to be attached in order to use the electric toothbrush, meaning you have the choice to use just the toothbrush, or you can use both the waterpik and the toothbrush at the same time.

The toothbrush has 2 different speed settings, normal and high. I found that the normal setting works just fine for me and is able to clean my teeth very well. When I combine the toothbrush with the waterpik I get an even better cleaning. The rechargeable battery lasts a good amount of time without having to charge. This comes in handy, especially if you decide to take the toothbrush on trips and don't bring the charging base with you.
Overall, I think this Sonic Fusion 2.0 is solid electric toothbrush/waterpik combo. The toothbrush does a fantastic job at cleaning my teeth and the waterpik manages to get in between every little crack and crevice. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a new electric toothbrush.

The Logitech G303 Shroud wireless mouse is incredibly light weight and minimal, but it does exactly what it’s supposed to do.
The mouse has 2 side buttons, a left and right click, a single button for DPI settings and a mouse wheel. The design and shape of the mouse makes is fit perfectly in my hand, and with it being so light – it makes it easier to move it for faster reaction times. The wheel has a nice agile click when scrolling, giving you more precise control. The butt end of the mouse has a hidden compartment that stores the USB dongle, in fact I didn’t even know it was there until I read the directions. The box comes with a usb-c to usb-b charging cable, as well as a female adapter.
The mouse works surprisingly well, I haven’t noticed any lag at all. At first glance, I thought the mouse was cheaply made seeing how incredibly lightweight it was, but after using it for a minute I quickly realized that’s how Logitech intended to make it. The lighter the mouse, the less resistance you get when moving your hand, making it that much faster to get a point and at 75 grams, this mouse it light. The G303 also gives you many options to adjust the dpi to your liking for a perfectly catered experience.
Overall, I like the G303. I think it’s a solid mouse and with its precise speed and lightweight – It makes for a good gaming experience. The mouse wheel feels very smooth to scroll and the subtle clicks make it very precise. I would recommend this mouse to any serious PC gamer.

The Lucyd Lyte Bluetooth audio sunglasses have comfortable frames, unfortunately that's about all they have going for them.
The frames come boxed with a power cable, a nice storage case, and a cleaning cloth. Each side has a small button that acts as the play/pause, power, pair, voice assist etc. The small underpowered speakers point upward over the ears, and the sides of the glasses are noticeably big. The charging cable is a royal pain to connect to the frames, its too short and each side has to be plugged into a very weak magnetic cable. The cable is Y shape and doesn't give you much slack, so you can guess why its hard to get it to stay connected.
Once I managed to charge the glasses, I connected them to my iPhone and tested out the audio. There is no dedicated app that you need, or any extra features other than music and voice control. You can use these on a call, but I wouldn't recommend it. The audio quality is bad, really bad. Part of the problem is the way the speakers are angle, the other part is they just sound very low quality. There is no bass at all, almost no range between highs and lows, and everything sounds distorted and muffled. But the biggest problem, everyone around you can hear what you're listening to. You're better off just using your phone speaker, as it sounds a lot better.
Overall, I appreciate what the Lucid Lyte Bluetooth glasses are trying to do, unfortunately they didn't execute them very well. While these are very comfortable frames, the poor audio quality and the bad cable management are enough to deter me from buying the frames. I would not recommend these to anyone.

The Bose S1 Pro PA System has some good ideas, but leaves out the necessities.
The S1 Pro doesn't offer much out of the box, you get the speaker and a power cord. This version does not include a rechargeable battery, so you’ll need to plug it into a power outlet. The speaker has 3 different channels, 2 – XLR inputs and 1 Bluetooth or AUX input. The first 2 channels have knobs to adjust the base, treble and reverb, but the Bluetooth and AUX do not. There is also an output to be able to connect to another S1 Pro using a ¼” TRS cable. You can also connect 2 speakers together wirelessly through the Bose connect app, to make them play in left and right stereo mode.
I connected the speaker via Bluetooth to my phone to test out the sound quality. The first thing I notice was the lack of bass at certain parts of the song and overpowered bass at other parts. It needed to be tuned, unfortunately there is no option to adjust the bass or treble in Bluetooth mode so what you hear is what you get…Aside from the bass being way off, the sound quality is decent, not their best by far, but decent enough. There are many times that the highs and lows tend to blend in together, leaving a dull sound quality, especially songs that had a lot of bass.
Next, I tested this out as a PA system using an XLR mic. I switched the tone match to mic and turned it on, only to find that the vol is incredibly low. Even at full volume, it never got that loud at all. The clarity was good, but the vol was just too low. Needless to say, I won’t be using this speaker for next year’s spelling bee.
Overall, I am disappointed with the Bose S1 Pro. The build quality is good, and I like how it has 3 different resting positions, but it misses out on the most important parts of a speaker. The lack of tone controls for Bluetooth is a big issue for me, as well as the lack of connections that it offers. I wish they offered more than just 2 – XLR inputs as the mic and instrument options. I also think the speaker fails as a PA system in terms of volume level. With all the options out there, I would probably choose a different PA system.

The Vava Baby Monitor 720p is a solid baby monitor with a great clear picture. Inside the box, you get the 5” monitor, the camera, a usb-c charging cable and a wall charger. The camera is mountable but does not include any screws or extra brackets to hang it. The camera does have a power cord and wall plug as well.
I’m going to jump right into the experience I had, as well as the quality of the product. As far as the camera quality goes, it’s really good. It does give a decent field of view, but it’s limited to how far down the camera can point. This is a problem especially if you point the camera at the crib and you aren’t able to see your baby because it won’t rotate down far enough. Although there is an option to buy an additional lens adapter which gives you a panoramic view… I had a big issue with this and the way the company went about this. When you’re about to have a baby and you go to buy a baby monitor, the last thing you have time to do is have to go out and buy additional parts just to get all the features out of the product you expected to be able to do out of the box…But that’s just my opinion.
Aside from the limited field of view, the camera does have a built-in 2-way talk feature, as well as good quality auto switching night vision. The piece that really shines is the monitor. The 5” display is crystal clear and very detailed especially only coming in at 720p. The colors are detailed and bright, and the night vision looks incredible. The 24hr battery life is great and actually works very well. It is equipped with a usb-c for fast charging, for when the battery does die. The monitor has everything you need to know right in the display, it can show you the temperature of the room, you can set it to auto wake up when your baby makes noise, and you can also use it as a 2-way talk. The 2-way talk function works for the most part, there were a few times that it wouldn’t work when I pushed the button but was only a few times at first.
Overall, I am impressed with the Vava baby monitor. The things I’m not impressed with is how the company decided to leave out the extra lens adapter, and the limited range of the included lens. With proper positioning I was able to get a good view of my baby in her crib and the image quality is fantastic. The 5” 720p display, you would think is 4k with how clear and detailed it is. The monitor’s battery also lasts a full 24hrs, plus has usc-c charging to get a faster charge. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new baby monitor.

The Amazon Echo Buds are decent sounding wireless earphones, with some nice features. The box includes everything you need to get up and running, except for a wall plug. But let’s face it, very few devices now days come with a cable and wall plug. The box comes with plenty of different sizes of ear tips, 4 to be exact and it also includes 3 different sized wing covers. The wing covers provide extra comfort, as well as providing a more secure fit. Lastly, there is a USB-C to USB charging cable.
The Buds are light weight, so this makes them comfortable to wear, especially for longer periods of listening time. They also fit nicely inside my ear, and with plenty of sizing options, I was able to find the right size. The Charging case is average size for wireless earbuds, and it’s easy to see where the buds fit in. There is also 1 small LED light by each bud to know if you have them seated in the case correctly. The buds are touch sensitive on the ends of each tip, which you can customize what each ear does in the Amazon app. I did have several occasions where my touch wouldn’t register on the buds, or if it did there was a long delay.
The amazon app is where you can get full control and use out of the Echo Buds. From the app you can, register them to your account, use the voice assist Alexa, customize the touch controls, and even customize the equalizer. The buds have 2 listening modes: Active noise cancelling and Passive. The active noise canceling is nice for mid tear pods, it does a good job at blocking out ambient noise making it easier to hear music or calls with any distractions. The passive or pass-through function is okay, it could be tuned a little better as I don’t really hear much of the environment that well.
The most important part is the sound, which is on point with the Echo buds. I really am impressed with the sound quality. I’m not saying that they’re the best buds I’ve heard, but I will say that they do offer a good range of highs and lows. The buds pack some powerful base especially for their size, and good lows. Voices are heard clear, and it’s easy to understand.
Overall, I think these are a decent pair of active noise cancelling earbuds. The one small complaint I do have is the touch controls do work that well, and when they do work, there is a long delay before anything happens. The pass through could also use some tweaks as well. They do sound good though and offer Alexa support. They can also run for about 5hrs (give or take on the settings you use). I would recommend these to anyone looking for a decent pair of ear buds.

The DJi Action 2 is a very innovative device, but it does have a few issues.
The main concept here are the 2 cubes, one acting as the main camera and the other acting as an extended battery bank, storage expansion and extra OLED screen. When you attach the 2 cubes together magnetically, they become one device. Whether you hold the camera towards you or away, each oled screen provides you with a view of what you’re shooting, while automatically locking the other screen. The cubes are made of a nice metal housing, that makes them both very sturdy in case of accidental dropping or damage. The second cube also houses a micro sd card reader (class 3 or higher only), and it also acts a power bank to give you an extended battery life. When the 2 cubes are attached together, you also get a multidirectional mic array, that allows you to pick up sound all around you.
I love the concept of the 2 cubes, but there is a catch to it…and that being, only the main camera unit is waterproof. So, if you plan on shooting under water, you won’t be able to use extended storage. This isn’t a deal breaker, because the main unit does have a built in 32gb of storage (22gb usable), but I see this more as a design flaw. I don’t understand why they didn’t add the SD slot on the main unit instead of the secondary unit. Also, the placement of the SD slot concerns me, as it’s directly below the powerful magnet, it makes me worried that it will wipe some or all my card’s data.
With the magnetic plate you hang around your neck, you can tuck it under your shirt and the cube will stick to it making it appear as if it were floating over your chest. This is handy if you want to shoot some hands-free action shots. The magnets are strong enough, that I never had a problem with the camera falling off or detaching. The camera has some solid specs on paper, like shooting 4K at 120fps, built in image stabilizer, multidirectional mics, wide and ultra-wide angles etc. You can also use the cam as a webcam when you attach it to your computer. I tried this on my MacBook pro, and it worked great. It immediately detects it and uses it, no set up required.
I decided to try out the 4k 120p first, and when playing back the footage I noticed a lot of lines running down the screen, I also noticed that the image was not staying in focus at all, it also would start to freeze up during play back. I then switched to 4k 60p and that made a huge difference, I had none of those problems anymore. The biggest issue that I have with the camera is how hot it gets after only a short period of time, and it gets hot. For this reason, you are only able to shoot for a certain amount of time before the camera shuts off on you. The camera does have a built-in auto shut off for when the camera gets too hot, and that’s right around the 3 or 5 mins depending on the settings.
Overall, I love the technology of the camera. I think they did an amazing job with the build quality and the materials they used. Unfortunately, it comes with a cost…The camera gets too hot too fast, the micro sd card slot should’ve been put on the main camera. I did have issues when recording in 4k 120p, but the video was crystal clear at 4k 60p. With that being said, I do think it’s a nice action cam and would recommend it.

The MistAir made by Pure Enrichment is a great humidifier that works incredibly well.
The humidifier is pretty small and doesn't take up that much space at all. The water tank is big enough to give you a full day of cool foggy mist. Don't let the size fool you though, the MistAir packs some pretty amazing features. For starters, the cool air mist has 2 different power setting; low and high. When switched on high, the cool mist can make a room change moisture in minutes and it does it without making any noise.
The MistAir also has a blue LED light which emits a soothing blue glow, it looks especially cool how it reflects off the foggy mist. The LED light can be turned off by pressing the power button a few times. The humidifier has a built-in auto off when it runs out of water, as to not keep using power. The one thing that really surprised me is that the device makes almost no noise at all.
Overall, I really like the MistAir. The size is small enough to fit on my nightstand, yet it’s powerful enough to make a big difference in minutes. The soothing blue light makes it feel like I’m in a spa and can be turned off if the light bothers you. The fact that it makes almost no sound is a huge added bonus. Most importantly though, is that it lets me get a good night’s sleep, by making my room a lot less stuffy, that alone is a huge win for me.

The Corsair iCue LT100 lighting towers are really cool, and make a great addition to any setup.
The starter kit comes with 2 towers, 2 tower stands, a link cord, a power cord and a headphone stand that sits on top of either tower.
The tower stands, or the base - each light up at the bottom making them that much more brighter. The towers themselves are made of metal and have the led strip built into the edge, making it look flush. You can use the towers without a computer, but you won't be able to customize the lights, you will have to cycle through the 11 presets that are installed in the light base.

Setting up the towers is pretty easy, they are mostly plug and play. To really enjoy all the features of the lights, you'll need to download the iCue software. From the software, you can fine-tune the exact colors and color patterns of your liking, you can also download countless of custom created lighting effects. My personal favorite lighting effect is the movie effect, which works with everything you do and it basically matches the color of your screen on each side. This is really Cool when gaming and watching movies because it makes your screen appear bigger and gives the illusion of being fully immersed in the content.
Overall, I really like the LT100 lighting towers. I think they add a great custom look to your set-up, and they make gaming and watching movies feel more immersive. With the countless customization options through the iCue software, you'll never run out of color patterns and options. I do wish you could set the movie effect as default when not running the software, like you can do with other presets. Other than that, I think they're great and would recommend them to anyone looking for a full package of LED lighting.

You don't have to have the water hose connected in order to use the electric toothbrush. It also works as a standalone electric toothbrush.

Yes, it is a full Windows 11 system, you would definitely want to get a keyboard and mouse to make it easier to use though.

As far as pc compatibility. Is it wired only or Bluetooth? also can I run 2 of them on my PC at once. Like for co op emulators and 2 player games
The controller is wired only. I'm not sure about 2 running at the same time though.

I recently bought a HP All In One Computer. I was interested in getting another monitor to set up a dual screen display. Would this HP Monitor work with the All In One I already bought? Thanks!
If your all-in-one supports it, then yes it will work. You would just plug in with an HDMI cable, then configure the display settings in windows.
