Can you put the disc magnet inside your phone case?

Hi there, thanks for your question. The magnet is designed to be strong enough to work through your phone case. However, we have heard in certain instances that customers phone cases were too thick for this to work. As long as your case isn't rather thick like an Otterbox is, it will work through the case. I bought this when sun shining and hot I think in April or may... worked great... weather turned cold and for 3 days it won’t hold grip... does it only work in summer ?

Please try rinsing off both the suction cup on the mount as well as the windshield / dashboard with water in order to ensure there is no residue blocking suction. How many metal plates does it come with?
