Does this printer have a document feeder for scanning ?
Hello ceasarelloie. The ET-2850 only has a flatbed scanner and does not have an auto document feeder. We recommend looking at the ET-3850 as it is a similar printer in features and includes a document feeder for scanning. On the scanner lid do the hinges raise up to allow scanning of books and thick magazines?
Hello Tina. Unfortunately, the ET-3830 scanner door is not removable. However, if any shadows appear when scanning, there is a scan setting to "remove shadows" within the print software. We also recommend looking at standalone scanners like the V39 model. It includes a removable lid and works great for scanning books and magazines. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.

Does this printer do double-sided scanning? Can it scan both sides of a piece of paper to make a copy?

Can I use Epson 664 ink bottles with this printer?

Is the Epson EcoTank ET-2400 compatible with vinyl papers?

The EcoTank Photo ET-8500 wireless all-in-one prints lab-quality color photos, graphics and everyday documents — all at an incredible value. Epson’s cartridge-free, 6-color Claria ET Premium Ink system delivers vibrant colors and sharp text for all your creative projects. With low-cost replacement ink bottles, print 4" x 6" photos for about 4 cents each compared to 40 cents with cartridges (1). Print everything from borderless 8.5" x 11" photos to customized CDs/DVDs.
