I’ve changed the ink twice now and it won’t print well. The black ink is always splotchy and not fully opaque. How do I fix this

Hello. We recommend printing out a nozzle check from the maintenance menu. If you have missing segments in the color patterns, try running cleanings from the same menu. Hi. I’m considering using this printer at a home that is in an area that has cold winters and it is not my full time residence. The interior of the house can reach near freezing temperatures between visits. Will this be a problem with the printer and ink?

Hello MP. We recommend using the XP-15000 with temperatures ranging from 50 to 95 °F (10 to 35 °C.) Recommended storage temperatures can range from –4 to 104 °F (–20 to 40 °C) when not in use. Please note these suggestions are best practices for using the machine. However, different environmental factors can impact printer functionality. Checked printheads, magenta wasn’t printing. Cleaned them. Nothing. Tried again. Now tiny bit of magenta visible. Tried again. Now magenta there but no cyan or yellow. Tried again- magenta & cyan good, no yellow. Says not to clean/print again for 12 hours

My Epson 2850 came with 522 bottles of ink which filled the tanks just fine. When I tried to use the remainder of the ink to top off the tanks, they would no longer seat in the printer but 502 fits. Why is this?
