The HERO11 Black comes with a USB-C cable that can be used to charge the HERO11. You can use a USB port on your computer or any 5V 1-2A USB charger (like the one that charges an iPhone) to charge the camera.

On my 9black, is there some way I can take a sequence of pictures at x-second intervals as I used to do with my original Hero years ago?.
Yes, the HERO9 Black can shoot time lapse videos and time lapse photos. The options for these include intervals at 0.5, 1, 2, 5, 10, and 30 seconds; as well as 1, 2, 5, 30 and 60 minutes.

Can you load videos directly to the cloud from the GoPro? And does doing so allow me to not have to lug around a laptop to download the memory card to free up space?
Yes, you can auto upload to the GoPro cloud without needing to use your laptop for this. You will need to subscribe to GoPro and to pair your HERO11 Black to the GoPro Quik app to set up the auto upload options, and you will need a wifi network with Internet connectivity. Note that networks that require acceptance of a terms & conditions agreement (hotels, coffee shops, etc.) will not work for auto upload. You'll also need to use the wall charger, have at least 3GB free on your SD card, and have your battery charged up to a safe level. Once you're all connected and in range of the wifi network you linked, plug in the camera to a power source and turn the camera on. The upload will start automatically. You can also select to auto-clear the files on your SD card as they're uploaded to free up space for more videos and photos.

I've heard that you can't upload video footage from 5 k to YouTube anymore, so will this camera be good for YouTube?
You may still be able to upload 5K videos to YouTube, but they will be shown as 4K to viewers. With the HERO9 Black, you can also select to shoot in 4K if YouTube is your primary upload site, or you can take advantage of the higher resolutions like 5K and crop/zoom in your videos as needed during editing and still render a 4K file.

Head Strap 2.0 lets you capture immersive, hands-free footage from your point of view. Use the headband with the top strap for more support and stability during intense activities, or the headband on its own for a low-profile setup during lower-intensity.
Can I set my GoPro vertically on the headband??
It is possible, but you'd likely need to use an adapter mount to rotate the camera. There are 90-degree mounts or even the 3-Way pivot arm mount could be used with the Head Strap to do this.

Does this remote have a zoom function
The Remote doesn't have the equivalent of the touch zoom slider that you can use on the rear screen of some GoPro cameras, but it will allow you to toggle between field of view resolutions before recording to select the FOV that works best for your shot.

The battery for the MAX is different than the one for the HERO models. There is a separate Enduro battery made for the HERO11 Black though.
