Please walk through the following.
Charger
1. Plug the charger into an outlet with no battery inserted, White and Red LEDs on the charger base should turn
on briefly and then turn off. This indicates the charger is powered on.
2. Place the battery on the charger. Observe LED indicators on the charger base:
a. 1 solid White LED – the battery is fully charged (the charger's LED will turn off automatically after
a short time if the battery is fully charged)
b. 1 flashing White LED – the battery is charging
c. 1 solid Red LED – the battery is in testing mode (charger will automatically switch out of this
mode once testing is complete)
d. 1 flashing Red LED – battery error detected (battery is not functioning properly and needs
to be replaced)
3. If the charger shows no LED indication on the charger base when a battery is inserted, then remove the
battery and reset the charger (unplug for 30 seconds and plug it back in).
a. White and Red LED on the charger base should turn on briefly and then turn off. If charger
shows no brief LED indication when plugged back in, then the charger is defective and needs
to be replaced.
Battery
1. Push the power level indication button on the battery. Power level should light up:
a. 1 flashing LED – battery needs to be charged
b. 1 solid LED – battery at 25% charge
c. 2 solid LED – battery at 50% charged. 3 solid LED – battery at 75% charge
e. 4 solid LED – battery fully charged
2. If the power level indicator does not light up or displays an odd 2-light sequence (1 & 3, or 2 & 4),
then the battery is no longer functioning properly.
a. Place battery on charger to confirm, flashing Red LED will light up on charger indicating
battery error. Replace the battery within the warranty period.
3. If the battery turns off during use in the product with some power level remaining, then the battery is
most likely in temperature suspension mode. This is a normal safety function of the battery pack
to prevent damage to the internal battery cells.
i. Place the battery on the charger to confirm, a solid Red LED will light up on the charger
indicating the testing mode.
ii. Allow battery temperature to stabilize, the charger will automatically switch to
flashing White LED when the correct temperature is reached.
