I am looking for a small electric cooler where I can charge the unit inside my home and in my car. I want the unit mostly for keeping drinks/lunch in my car through an 8-hour period. Can you make a recommendation?

The 12v coolers such as the P27 voyager either run off 12 volts in a vehicle or may be powered by the optional AC power adapter to plug the cooler into 110/120 volts in your home. If the cooler is left plugged into a vehicle and the vehicle if off then the cooler will drain the battery completely in approximately 4 hours. The 12 volt coolers are not rechargeable and they do not have a battery pack. You would have to run the cooler with an ac power adapter.

Does the Koolatron come with a cord or do you have to purchase it separately? also, how does it look inside? there are not inside photos.

The KWC4 cooler comes with a 12v power cord and an AC cord for 110 volt usage. For further information please email service@koolatron.com for an image of the inside of the unit.
