I have a built-in cabinet opening that is only 42 3/4 in. wide. But have a 1 in. lip extending out from that which is much wider. So, if tv is only 1 in. or slightly more in depth it would fit by protruding beyond the less wide cabinet. this work??

You can learn how to use the Samsung Smart Remote right from your TV! Just go to Home> (left directional button) Settings> Support> Remote Control Guide.
To adjust the brightness on your TV, go to Home > Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings and configure the TV settings to your taste with functions such as Brightness, Contrast, Sharpness, Color, Tint (G/R), and many more.

when the sun - bright to tv it will fade or too dark?

Why this tv doesn't show full screen on movies like amazon prime shows black bars top and bottom Another thing if u are watching movies doesn't allow you to change screen size it's say this option is not available

Please know that HD channels will have black bars on either side of the screen when displaying upscaled SD (4:3) content. Black bars will appear at the top and bottom of the screen when watching movies with aspect ratios different from your TV. Adjust the picture size options on your external device or set the TV to full screen.
Go to: Home > Settings > All Settings> Picture > Picture Size Settings > Picture Size.
