If the compressor fails, we recommend contacting Samsung Support to schedule a service visit through phone, chat, or social media. A Samsung-authorized technician will inspect the refrigerator to determine whether the compressor has failed due to a manufacturing defect. If the failure is confirmed and the unit is still within the warranty period, Samsung will replace the compressor at no charge for parts. The limited warranty period is as follows:
a. One (1) year parts and labor.
b. Five (5) years parts and labor on the Sealed Refrigeration System only (Compressor, Evaporator, Condenser, Drier, and Connecting Tubing).
c. Ten (10) years parts and Five (5) years labor on the Digital Inverter Compressor only.
