I have a MacBook Pro and sometimes the monitor connects and sometimes it does not. I am using an HDMI connection I have tried multiple ways to connect. It is frustrating. Any suggestions ?

Will the monitor wake up if If I move the mouse around. Or are we required to use the remote to wake up the tv?

Thank you for your question! The monitor will awake when the PC wakes. However, if the monitor is turned off using a remote, it will go into 'off mode', requiring a remote to wake it up.

How is the sound on this TV? I have a large, high ceiling room and I would prefer not to spend money on a sound bar.

Are the speakers on the bottom or the sides like my other Samsung?

Can this monitor be dialed down to 1440p and have the refresh rate be boosted to 240mhz?

Why is the smart hub so glitchy ? And why do I have to reset tv everytime I turn it on being that I can't access any apps? I bought this three days ago and very unhappy with it I use to like y'all's product always had a Samsung but now feel like I need to

Can I connect a Mac Book Pro to this using a straight USB C cable from the Thunderbolt USB C to the USB C port on the monitor

Yes, TBT has backward compatibility with USB-C. You'll be able to connect Macbook and M7 via USB-C. Please note, display and charging (65w) is available, but the data speed is only USB level (not TBT).
