Why is it advertised with Copilot opposed to Google Gemini ?
Hello Ricky, thank you for asking us your question about the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge. The advertised Galaxy Book4 Edge is advertised with Microsoft Copilot instead of Google Gemini because it is a Copilot+ PC. Devices must meet strict Microsoft requirements to be labeled a Copilot+ PC. Copilot is integrated into Windows 11 and allows seamless control of the OS and integration with Microsoft 365 apps. Samsung and Microsoft partnered to enable unique, low-latency AI features. These include using Copilot to control a Galaxy phone through Link to Windows. Users can send messages, retrieve contacts, and summarize texts via voice prompts. Also, users can still access Google Gemini via the web browser. Yes, the advertised Galaxy Tab A9+ Kids Edition (Wi-Fi model) works without a Wi-Fi connection, allowing for offline play of pre-downloaded games, videos, and apps. While initial setup and app downloads require internet, the device is fully functional offline, making it ideal for travel or areas without connectivity. As a Wi-Fi-only tablet, it does not require a cellular data plan to function, nor can it be added to a wireless carrier due to its lack on SIM card tray.
