The TU690T does not have built-in Alexa, but it does work with Alexa-enabled devices. You can ask your Alexa device to turn on your TV, change channels, control the volume, and more.

how close can you be to this TV before you are too close? in other words, what is the best distance to be at to get the best picture?

While it mostly depends on personal preference, the recommended viewing distance is typically 2x the size of the TV (the diagonal measurement of the screen).

Why do manufacturers not get that as the boomers are aging, we need a tv that the wife can listen on the tv speakers and we can listen on headphones? It needs to be simultaneous, without echo and needs headphone connectivity without recon every time.

When this function is active, you can set the volume of the Bluetooth headphone higher than the volume of the TV speaker.
