Can the sound bar attach to the bottom of the TV? I have a Samsung attached to a ceiling mount.

Hi Jeff,

The HW-B650 Soundbar comes with mounting hardware that will allow you to mount it to the wall. You can use those same holes on the bottom of the soundbar to mount to third party brackets as well. The screws used to mount the soundbar with the provided equipment are M4 x L10. The weight of the HW-B650 Soundbar is 6.8lbs as well.

The HW-B450 Soundbar will work without the subwoofer connected. But you will lose some low end and mid range sounds that are produced by the subwoofer.

If i connect this sound bar to the compatible rear channel speakers, will those speakers provide additional support for things like dialog, or will they only support things like special effects?

The HW-B650 Soundbar can connect with either the SWA-9100S or the SWA-9200 Wireless Rear Speaker Kit. By design, the surround speakers are supposed to simulate sounds happening behind the viewer. Therefore, most of the time the surround channels are only used for ambient sounds, which are naturally lower in volume.

When I turn it on the soundbar I would like it to go straight to HDMI, How can I do that.

The HW-B650 has one HDMI input for connecting to any HDMI source such as a TV. But this will not support eARC or HDMI 2.1 features.
