So I had asked the question of how long are the legs of a 65 inch tv? I always get the length from side to side (47.5) what I really need is the length of the feet from front to back of tv? ( so I can figure out how wide my new tv stand should be)

Hi Cappy! Apologies for the confusion. As stated in the previous answer, the depth (or length from front to back) of each leg on the 65" AU8000 is 11.1". Your furniture or TV stand will need to have a depth of over 11.1" in addition to the width of over 42.7" to accommodate the distance between each leg. I hope this helps. Can the volume be controlled by my Dish Network remote instead of the one that comes with this Samsung TV; also thepower button to turn on and off the tv. I am constantly having to switch remotes when I change channels or change the volume. Thanks.

Will this TV get the local free channels you get with an outside antenna on the roof? Like 3, 3.3, 5, 5.3, 5.4, 8, 10.3.......
